Chapter 2: Meeting The Lady

2722 Words
Vyvian Adair POV: I am now standing in front of a quite large white iron door and it's clean and not rusty like it had been replaced with a new one only for this very occasion. The three policemen are standing just behind me, weirdly eyeing the place warily. Why do I feel like I'm meeting the President? "Hey, kid." I heard someone behind me called making me turn. The leader-like police guy that had been pushing and talking to me for quite some time now, is already looking at me. "Little tip. Don't do anything stupid and don't ask anything stupid. If you are asked, just answer as truthfully as you can, no questions asked. Got it?" He stated and all I can do is nod understandingly. It's the President. "The light is now green dude. It's time." The guy behind said, pointing something above. I follow the finger's direction and it landed on a light that is shaped like an ambulance lighting but instead of red, it's green. They opened the door slightly but enough for a human to get inside. "We're not allowed to follow you inside so you need to do it yourself. Find a wooden mahogany door with an X sign on it. That's where you enter and nothing else." And the door closed before I give a response or gesture. Rude. I turn to look at the new space. This is different from the first one we walked in. Newer, neat and clean, and also perfectly polished. The floor is tiled than a dirty gray cement. The walls are colored black with a gold accent than a vandalized one and every part, every corner of the area is well lit than the dark hallway with only a single light in the very end earlier. I started to walk deeper inside in this unknown place. Just like the dark hallway, there are also doors in here but instead of iron, its door is similar to what you see on laboratories and s**t, the white one with a glass window a little above from the middle. Beside those doors are keypads that I think are used to lock it securely and only the people who know the pin code can access it and go inside. I continue my journey towards the instructed mahogany door with an X on it that I need to enter. With every step I take on this tiled floor, my new leveled up anxiety rises to no extent and my heart is not making any difference. I turning to the right, I spotted a door just like the one the police guy defined it, mahogany and an X on it. What's going to happen to me behind that door? Am I going to die? Is this my last day to see light? I am going to die alone and sad? I've been asking myself that I know would not answer. And another thing is, I didn't realize that I'm already a few feet standing from the door. I stretch my left arm towards the doorknob and rest my hand there with my fingers wrap on the metal material. Here goes nothing. And with that, I twist the doorknob and push it, slowly opening the door. I expected to be greeted by a person in front of me but, nothing. The place has no living figure sitting nor standing. It's completely deserted. "Hello?" I called silently as if I would make anyone angry if I increase it. Nothing, again. I went inside and close the door softly like a thief would do. I walk around the place, scanning the outstandingly huge and completely different space. Now the place is black and white. White walls and black marbled floor. There's a small bookshelf in the corner that is filled with kinds of thick books. There are also giant picture frames but inside of it is not a picture of people or a person but, achievements. What the heck? Who would anybody waste money just to put simple achievements on large frames and hang them on the wall? Oh yeah, the person who owns this place. I just wave the thought out of my head and resume myself in looking around. Once you enter the room, you would immediately see the large glass window that I didn't spot at first due to my nervousness to nothing. Through the window, you can see the mountains, large trees, and a sea, or let's just say, all about nature. A peaceful place fit for a peaceful person. I hope. To the side, I saw another passageway to the other side of the place and was about to enter to see when, "Good day Mr. Adair." I stop on my tracks and turn around like my life depends on it. I look towards the large leather chair that is facing the window and eyes in nervously. Watching it, the chair suddenly turns around slowly and I spotted a middle-aged woman sitting on it holding a glass of imported alcohol. He is wearing a red dress that can be used for business parties and stuff. He paired with shimmering stones as accessories. Hoop earrings are made of diamonds, in her fingers is a ring with a red stone on it that looks like ruby, and lastly, her bracelet that is similar to the earring's material, diamonds. "Please have a seat, I won't hurt you." She stated again. Her voice is soft and dominating at the same time. A voice that could persuade anyone who hears it. I hesitated to follow her invitation but I just did it nonetheless. Wouldn't hurt to just sit on it, right? I took a step closer to the visitor's chair in front of a luxury office table. I bend my knees and sit on it. Never in my life, I sat anything this soft and comfy. I didn't move a muscle after that, afraid that she would do anything dangerous to me. "Don't be tense Mr. Adair, loosen up. Just feel at home." She said as if she knows my feeling right now. I don't want to imagine anything related to that hell hole again. I would rather die here than die in that torture house. "So, Vyvian." She started again, now instead of addressing me by my last name, she decides to use my birth name. A name that I despise a lot not from the name itself but that name only reminds me of my merciless parents for there are the ones who gave it to me. The lady took an empty wine glass including the wine bottle beside it and pour some moderate amount of content on it, before offering it to me making me startled. "Do you know why you are brought here?" She asked me, an arm stretched towards me with a glass of wine in the hand. "Take it, darling. If I'm a killer, I won't kill you with poison. That would be so boring. I love to do it with a twist on it, like stabbing a meat hook in the stomach and hang them in the air while I will skin them alive with a butcher knife from toe to head." My face paled at the words she just uttered. She is looking at me with a smile on the face, not faltering one bit. But that thought soon changes when I'm still not making a move to accept it. "I said take it, darling." And I don't need to be told thrice and took the glass from her hand and rest it on my thighs with my fingers still wrapped on it of course. "I don't like to say anything twice. If I give or offer something, you have to take it whether you like it or not. Are we clear Vyvian darling?" She stated, looking at me intensely and I don't have a choice but to respond to it with a small nod but I guess that's enough reply for her because I saw the side of her lips raise. "Good." She went back to lean on her chair, hands on the armrest. "So darling again, do you know why you are brought here?" She asked. "N-no ma-ma'am," I replied nervously at her with a stutter. This woman is scary as hell. "Any guesses?" I just shook my head, signing 'no' for the second time. "Hm. Well, let me tell you this dear," she started, leaning forward with her forearm pressing on the table. "You have committed something bad and let's just say, it's an unholy crime." "M-may I know what c-crime is it then?" I asked her, my hands are holding the glass tightly now. What kind of f*****g crime is this s**t? "Sorry, dear. It's forbidden to tell. I know, shitty, but all I can say is that, is bad." She finishes and I look down at the floor frowning. That's it? All she could say that it's 'Bad'? I remove the frown on my face and act naturally on it. No emotion, no expression. I then look up at her. "D-does my parents have to do with this?" I asked her. As far as I hate this term, I have to if I want to find clarification and information. "Excuse me?" She looks at me in question, not picking up my words. "My parents, are they involve with this?" I asked again, this time more clearly. "Oh. Well, Mr. and Mrs. Adair don't know about your crimes or you are about to be imprisoned but we already sent them a letter, so no need to wor--" "No," I stated, cutting her off. "Pardon?" "Don't tell them," I said in detail. She seems not to shock at my statement but asked anyway. "May I know why?" "I don't want anything to do nor get involved with them. I want them out of my life." I explained to her and she nods understandingly. "Are you sure about your decision?" "A hundred percent," I said quickly. Those s**t that I call parents can shove their worries up their asses if they have any. "Very well then. I will contact the station in their locality to stop the information letter immediately." She stated. I nod to her gratefully. "Any more request?" I shook my head in 'nothing'. "If you don't have any more requests then let's get into the main purpose of this meet-up." She declared. "As you noticed, you are brought here in this isolated prison, far away from the city. This prison only accepts prisoners that have heavy crimes they committed, that's mean you are included." She started. "From this day forth, you will stay here as detainee just like the others you must've seen earlier. Don't expect to be treated as royalty nor a VIP even though you're new here. You will be treated just like we treat the others, ordinary and criminals." Her last words kind of hurt me, but I didn't show it physically. "We also have rules and regulations in here. Disobey one of them, you will be punished, severely depending on the rule or actions you did. Understood?" She asked me. "Yes ma'am," I replied, nodding at her. "Good. Now, your ne--" she was cut off from her talking when the telephone beside her rang. "Excuse me." She said before picking up the call, walking away towards the other part of the room where I was about to peak earlier if she didn't interrupt me. So, this will be hell 2.0 for me if I do something stupid huh? From all the other prisons in the world, why this? Why this faraway place? It's not enough reason for me to be here because I'm a 'criminal' if they say so themselves. Many other prisons in America have the most vicious criminals in them. Who am I kidding, no one's going to answer these questions. Talking shits about myself for a while, the lady I still don't know the name. Why didn't I think of that? "I apologize Mr. Adair but I guess our conversation must end up here. I need to attend some few agendas." She said calmly to me. "O-oh, o-okay," I spoke. Finally, out of this calm yet unsettling place. "I will call the police officers that escorted you to tour you around the place so that you can familiarize it." And with that, she walked to the door and opened it wide, signaling me to leave. What the f**k? That's it? Informing me that she has some agendas to run then kicks me out after? I didn't say it out loud. I just stood up from the comfy chair and walks to the open door. "I will see you soon Mr. Adair. Enjoy your stay." Saying that she then slams the door on my face leaving me dumbfounded. How rude can this woman be? How did she become a rich lady when she has no respect? Oh yeah, I'm a 'Criminal'. But that doesn't explain the fact that I'm still human. I just sighed loudly, walking for the second time on this clean way, out of this ever so different place. The moment I walk out of this place, I saw the talky officer, speaking on the phone, maybe the lady while the other two are just standing quietly. "Ok Lady X, no problem." The officer said. He is already looking at me, scanning me up and down. "Thank You." Uttering that, he cut off the call then shoving the phone into his pocket. "Let's go, we still need to tour this kid around." He announces to the two statue officers. He grabs me by the nape and pulls me close to him. We walk again to a dark place, identical to the first one. As we were walking, we all heard a grumbling sound. "f**k, I'm hungry." One of the silent officers' curses. The talky officer chuckled along with the other one beside him. "You're always hungry." I look up to the side, staring at the guy who just talked. He has blond hair and I didn't notice that until now. The same built as the talky one but slightly on the lean side if that makes any sense. "I'm a growing man, Tyler." The hungry man said. Oh, so the guy's name is Tyler. "You're 32, with a wife and children, it's not you who's growing Francis, it's your d**k. If you haven't been so horny, you could've still had tons of stamina left." Officer Tyler replied. "You're just jealous I have a p***y to f**k. I told you to get married already. You're such a softy, afraid to get hurt." The officer whose name is Francis mocks him. Finally, I now know the names of the two. "Enough you two. We have a child beside us. Keep it PG." The talker officer said. I only need this guy's name to complete the trinity. "Pssh, child? I doubt this kid doesn't know what a cunt is" Francis said, looking at me with narrow eyes. "And I don't doubt this kid had been f****d by dozens of c***s in the past." With Tyler's words, the talky officer looks at him with a raised eyebrow. "How do you even know this boy's gay and a bottom?" He asked him. "I have great gaydar. But not just that, look at that body." Tyler said, pointing at me and the two follows it. "Feminine, soft, skinny, and fair white. You can tell by the curves that it's done intentionally." "Makes sense." Francis agrees, nodding. The talky officer did not comment instead, he just looks up and continued walking as if he didn't hear a word. Later on, rather than a grey doodled wall, I saw a grey double door that looks the same as the door at a school cafeteria. But just like the entrance door, it's dirty and rusty. Stopping a foot from it, Tyler and Francis went on our side, palms are wide, touching each door, ready for a push. "Welcome," I heard the police guy started. He looks down at me, eyeing me like I'm some kind of organism that doesn't deserve to see what's inside. "to the Prison of Temptation." Then the door to hell opened.
