  ELORA'S POV   Lucian didn't come home last night.   I should've known. But still, a part of me—some foolish part of me—hoped he'd walk in no matter how late it got. Even grandma hadn't gone to bed early, she kept pacing in the living room like she expected him to walk in. But he never showed up. Not that I really expected him, it's not as if it's his first time, but I had to pretend that I care since Grandma is around.   So I just went upstairs and slept after a few hours of waiting.
