  ELORA'S POV   It was already late in the evening when I told Lila it was time for her to sleep, at least for a while before the bonfire started. She pouted at first, insisting she wasn't tired, but the way she rubbed at her eyes betrayed her. Eventually she crawled into her sleeping bag. I sat beside her until her breathing softened and she fell asleep.   Brandon had stepped away earlier to receive a call, and when he returned, he had two jackets in his hands.
