Ace's POV
I was alarmed when Baek said he'll make me pay for avoiding him these past seven days.
It was hell for me, too. I was going crazy for not being able to sneakily cuddle with him at night. Or see and talk to him in school.
After Baek's birthday dinner, my dad asked me to talk to him in his home office. I was nervous. He doesn't usually ask me for that kind of private talk unless I was in trouble. I hadn't been in trouble at school or outside the school since Baek and his mother came to live with us.
When I walked in, he was standing by the window overlooking the backyard where Baek and his friends were chatting and laughing. I bet my ass my father saw my jealous glare outside when he turned to face me.
