Night, deep as ink. On the streets of New York, amidst the dim lights, shadows flicker, while on the edge of the city, darkness looms like a massive net, silently enveloping everything.
Jack Harris walked alone down a secluded alley, his footsteps echoing sharply in the stillness of the night. Jack was tall, with sharp eyes and tousled black hair. His chiseled features conveyed a sense of determination. He wore a slightly worn suit, his tie loosened as if he had just endured a tiring ordeal.
Jack was an ordinary young man, striving in this bustling metropolis, harboring dreams and aspirations for the future. He worked at a small newspaper, racing around in search of news leads every day. However, tonight he felt particularly exhausted, not just from work but also from a deep-seated unease.
This unease had started to creep into his mind days earlier. He always felt as though a pair of eyes were watching him from the shadows, no matter where he went. He tried to convince himself it was merely a figment of his imagination, yet the feeling grew stronger.
As he reached the end of the alley, he suddenly heard a strange noise—a low growl reminiscent of an animal, deep and threatening. Jack stopped, his heart racing as he glanced around cautiously. An inexplicable fear surged within him.
At that moment, a dark shadow flashed before his eyes. Before Jack could comprehend what it was, a powerful force knocked him to the ground. He struggled in terror, but that strength was overwhelming, rendering him immobile.
When he finally saw what had attacked him, his eyes widened in disbelief. It was a gigantic wolf, its eyes glowing with an eerie green light, sharp teeth glinting in the moonlight. Despair filled Jack's heart; he had no idea why he was being attacked by a wolf, but he knew he was doomed.
Just at the edge of life and death, something strange happened. He felt his blood racing through his veins, and his body began to change. An indescribable pain coursed through him as he sensed his bones twisting, muscles swelling, and skin undergoing bizarre alterations. In excruciating agony, Jack let out a piercing scream.
When the pain subsided, Jack slowly opened his eyes. To his astonishment, he found he had transformed into a wolf. His body was covered in gray fur, his limbs strong and powerful, and sharp claws left deep marks on the ground. His eyes glowed with the same green light, filled with wildness and strength.
Jack stared in horror at his transformation. He couldn’t believe he had become a wolf. Had wolf's blood always flowed within him? He tried to revert to his human form, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't change back. He wandered aimlessly in the alley, filled with fear and confusion.
At that moment, he heard a wolf howl in the distance. The sound was full of authority and power, as if calling to him. Jack hesitated for a moment, then walked toward the direction of the howl. He didn't know what awaited him, but he knew he had to find the answers.
As he stepped out of the alley and into an open field, he saw a pack of wolves gathered together, seemingly holding some kind of ritual. His arrival caught their attention, and they turned to look at the unfamiliar member of their kind.
Jack nervously watched them, unsure of what to do. Just then, a tall, powerful wolf stepped forward. Its fur was jet black and glossy. It approached Jack, circled around him, and then let out a deep growl.
Jack felt the wolf's authority and lowered his head in submission. The wolf seemed pleased with his response, nodded slightly, and turned back to the pack. Jack hesitated for a moment, then followed behind it.
The pack led Jack to a mysterious place, where there was a massive cave. A strange aura permeated the cave, evoking both awe and fear. The imposing wolf entered the cave, and Jack followed it inside.
Deep within the cave, Jack was confronted with a shocking sight. There was a gigantic throne, upon which sat an even larger wolf. Its fur was as white as snow, and its eyes exuded wisdom and authority. It looked at Jack and slowly spoke, "Welcome back, Jack."
Jack stared in astonishment, unsure of what it meant. The wolf continued, "You are born of the werewolves; the blood of the wolf tribe flows through you. Years ago, due to a calamity, you were lost among humans. Today, we have summoned you back through the courage of our warriors. From now on, you will be one of us, never to leave the wolf tribe again. There is something very important awaiting you to accomplish."
Jack could hardly believe his ears. Was this real? But under the imposing gaze of the wolf, he felt an irresistible power. He knew his fate had changed forever.
From that day on, Jack began his life as a wolf. He worked hard to adapt to his new identity, learning the rules and culture of the wolf tribe. He and the wolves survived on the edge of the city, maintaining a certain distance from the human world.
However, his heart was always filled with nostalgia for the past and confusion about the future. He didn't know if he could ever become human again, nor how to face his past and his friends.
