Rachel P.O.V

I reached the hotel where the party was.I paid my cab driver and went inside.The party was at the 15th floor so in no way i can take stairs or the little bit of makeup i have put on will be drained.I don't like lifts.The thought of getting stuck in lift scares me.It is also because of my childhood experience of being stuck in lift for 4 hours.When they opened the lift,i was laid unconscious on the floor.That's the reason i don't like lifts.Now back to present,I entered one of the lifts.There was already a guy in the lift.he was playing game in his phone.so i was not able to look at him properly.He was standing behind me.The 15th floor button was already clicked so i guessed the guy was also going to the party.The difference was that he was attending the party and i was managing it.

After few minutes,the lift suddenly stopped.It got stuck!Holy s**t!my nightmare came true.I tried to start the lift and opening it but it was of no use.The guy behind me was relaxed as if he didn't care if he got stuck here forever.In this critical situation,his attitude was pissing me off.I banged on the door and called out for help.But no use,Maybe no one heard me.Then i heard the guy's voice,"Relax,lady.The lift will start soon". Relax?!.How can he know i am so scared of these situations.I started panicking.My breaths were becoming shallow..I tried to calm myself down,but it was not helped.I sat down in one corner so that i don't panic too much.What if i run out of oxygen and die here?My wild thoughts were panicking me too much.i put my head back supported by the lift wall and closed my eyes.Suddenly I felt a pair of hands holding my hands.I opened my eyes to see that the guy was now holding my hands and was saying,"Hey,relax!Everything is going to be alright.I guess you have lift phobia.I am here with you.Now,look at me and take deep breaths..Breathe in..Breathe out."

I started to feel relaxed.His voice was filled with worry and it was so relaxing and soothing at the same time.Now i noticed how beautiful his face was. His brown mesmerizing eyes were so relaxing and soothing.His chiseled jaw and the beard was completing his look.I could smell his woodsy and masculine cologne.After some seconds,The lift started working.We both got up.He was still holding my hand.When we reached the floor,I came out of lift,turned around and said,"Tha ..Thank you."Oh Lord!I was stuttering at my words.He came behind me and smiled and went to the party.I went to our staff thinking about the incident happened in lift.Then i remembered,I have a party to manage.

James P.O.V

We reached the hotel and were going inside when shane received a call.I told him to complete the call and come inside soon.Leaving him,I headed towards the lift.In lift,i tapped for 15th floor and got busy in playing game to kill time.A girl entered into the list after few seconds.I was not able to see her completely as her back was towards me.She had long curly hair and i could smell her fruitsy shampoo she had.From her dress,I could say that she also came here to attend the party.Maybe i would be able to see her in the party.After some time,the lift stopped suddenly."Ah,Gosh.I hate this",I thought to myself.The girl in the lift started trying to open or start the lift.She was wasting her time.The lift maybe stopped maybe because of electricity problems.I said to her,"Relax,Lady.The lift will start soon".But maybe she was ignoring my words.She was panicking.Then i saw here sat down in the corner with her eyes closed.Then i guessed that maybe she has lift phobias.Ah,that's why she is panicking so much.I need to help her.Phobias are worst.They can lead to severe consequences. I went to her and held her hand.She opened her eyes and saw me with confusion.I said to her,"Hey,relax!Everything is going to be alright.I guess you have lift phobia.I am here with you.Now,look at me and take deep breaths..Breathe in..Breathe out."

Maybe my words worked this time,I could feel her tensed body getting relaxed.Her blue eyes which were filled with fear some time ago were now deeply looking into my eyes and were searching my face.being so close to her,I could see how innocent her face was.She was a natural beauty.After some time,the lift restarted.We both got up from the floor,I was still holding her hands ensuring her that we were going outside safe.After lift came to the floor,she went outside turned towards me and said,Tha ..Thank you." Her voice was so calm and sweet.I smiled at her and went towards the lift as if i stay there more,maybe i will end up kissing her innocent face.And i hoped that we would meet soon in the party.

Rachel P.O.V.

The arrangements went smoothly as we were already prepared for this.The party was going on.I was not in the party but with the staff to give them instructions and not to mess anything up.After some time,I went inside the party to check if the all the dishes for the dinner had arrived or not.I was also hoping to see the lift guy as he came here only.Unfortunately,this place was huge so if he would be here i would not be able to see him.Suddenly,A lady bumped into me.When i looked towards her,She was a lady in her fifties."I am so sorry,I was in a hurry",the lady said to me."Oh,It's okay.Mrs..". "Cassandra Rodriguez"she informed me with her name."Yeah,Mrs.Rodriguez". I have read about Rodriguez's.This family is one of the richest and powerful families of L.A. "I hope i didn't dropped wine on your beautiful dress." Did she just called my dress beautiful!She is a well known fashion designer.I calmed my nerves and answered her with a smile,"No Mrs. Rodriguez,No damage is done". " I haven't seen you here before.Were you in college and now have came here to join family business". She thinks I belong to their class,if that would be true. "No,I am here managing the party." "Oh,You're quite young for such a big job". " I know that but don't worry i am here in place of my boss.She is pregnant so she was not able to come".She then said," oh,I see.By the way,What's your name,young lady?" "Rachel Smith" I replied to her."You're beauty with brains dear.Handling such a big job,It's quite impressive!" I blushed at her comment and said,"Thank you Mrs.Rodriguez but you are just being kind.Now if you will excuse i have to check for the dinner and i think you were also in a hurry." As i said that,maybe she realized why she was in a hurry and left saying "Good bye,I hope we meet soon."

I thought that was never gonna happen.Rich people like them forget people like us.Putting my thoughts aside,i got busy in checking the dishes.As i was going outside,I heard a familiar voice.I turned around and saw the guy from the lift was now on the stage was giving a speech.He was talking about schemes for foster homes for orphans and telling everyone to donate to such a noble cause.I was mesmerized by him that i didn't hear his name called out by host when he ended his speech.Damn! I don't know name.I wanted to go to see him but then i thought was he interested in meeting me?I thought i should forget about this crush i developed on him a few hours ago.Thinking that,i went outside and

after my job was finished,I left for home.
