In the hot weather of New York City, one girl is sleeping peacefully in her bedroom with the a.c turn on and dreaming about her perfect Prince Charming .
Her Prince Charming doesn't come sitting on top of a horse but he comes in front of her doorway in a new branded Lamborghini. The very familiar Lamborghini . She sees that everyday when she goes to her friend Navya's house .
Her dream man gets down from the car but he's turning his back to her and taking out his glasses , he puts it on and about to turn around to face her when .... ?? I might never be your knight in shining armor
I might never be the one you take home to mother
And I might never be the one who brings you flowers
But I can be the one, be the one tonight
When I first saw you
From across the room
I could tell that you were curious (oh, yeah)
Girl, I hope you're sure...??
She keeps staring at his back but frowns cause of the sudden song plays in the background and her prince get back in the car and drives away .
" No !!! Wait !!" She yells to stop him and starts running behind the car but unfortunately her sprains and she falls on the middle of the road .
And car rush in to hit her but she just sits up and starts panting .
" Thank god ! That was another dream" she places her hand on her thumping heart and panting heavily cause of the dream .
She shakes her head to remove those shitty things from her head and grabs her phone from the bedside table and opens a text from her boyfriend.
From boyfriend: good morning beautiful ? .
She smiles and replies him back .
To boyfriend : good morning handsome ☺️.
After that she opens another text from her friend Navya .
From Baby girl : Get your ass up sleepy head , I'm on the way so you be ready on time ?.
To baby girl : I'm up !!! ???
She puts her phone back down and connect the charger with a happy smile on her face . Slowly stretching out she looks at the clock which reads 7:30 am .
" oh s**t .. I'm so dead . Nav will kill me" she murmurs to herself and jumps down the bed and runs into the bathroom to take a quick shower of good 10 minutes and doing her morning business she runs out wrapping a towel around her naked body . As soon as she step back into her room her breath hitched .
" I knew you will be late like always Nandini , so here you go" saying the person who is sitting on her bed throws fresh pair of bra panties and her clothes at her .
" Thanks" she walks in and dropping the towel puts on her panties and bra . " you're a life saver" .
" yeah yeah I know" the person smirks .
And Nandini just roll her eyes and starts putting on her jeans and top .
" I'm ready , so let's go" saying that she grab her makeup bag and school bag .
Then both of them walk downstairs and head to the car which is standing in front of Nandini's mansion .

" Today was fun . The new teacher nailed it" Navya says and Nandini just nod cause she didn't find anything funny at all . They are in grade 10 and having final exam in few months and the sudden change of the teacher make them uncomfortable and confused for the next semester. Well, It's confusing in Nandini's words only .
" what are you thinking ?" Navya pokes her and she just shrugs .
" Just tired" she replies and both of them gets in the car .
" So , I'll see you tonight, right?" Navya asks once she lift Nandini to her house and she nods .
" yeah . But I'll have to ask mom first , you know how is she sometimes" she replies and takes her bag .
" okay then , text me if you don't get the permission from aunt" Navya says and drives away .
And sighing Nandini walk into her house modern mansion which is located in the south part of the New York City .
" Mom , i am home" she shouts and runs upstairs into her room and lay down cause she's hella tired from the classes and all .
" welcome back honey , I want to have a talk with you " her mom greets her and walks into her room .
" okay?" She asks least interest to talk .
" honey, you're 17 so it's time you apply for any jobs yeah? Next year you'll be in the college so it's high time you get a job and settle down . You know , if it was India and not New York then I wouldn't say these things but now you should think, okay?" She nods after her mother's long speech . As , she knew it was coming towards her , she sits up and grabbing some papers , she place them in front of her mother .
" I applied already and now waiting for getting responses from them . You can go now . Oh yeah , I'm going to Navya's tonight so don't cook for me" She lays back down to take a nap as she won't get any sleep at night .
Cause knowing Navya , she's always up for something fishy . And won't let Nandini sleep at nights for their girls talk . Smiling she close her eyes and soon deep slumber covers her .
