Chapter five

At the mall we went shopping in Maurices for clothes. My mom went to see a dress. It was a one shoulder dress and it had the color red on it with flowers on it too. And she also got a jacket for the dress. I got a jacket and a skirt with a shirt. Then I went shopping for a present for my friend's birthday. I got him a shirt and new shoes with a skateboard. He likes to skateboard. Then my mom left to get something so I went walking around the mall for stuff I got a new movie to watch. I waited for my mom at a restaurant in the mall. I ordered a sandwich that had cheese and veggies on it and it was wrapped up. When I opened it there was a letter in it. And it said I see you everyday smile at me I don’t know if I would make throw the bad day. If it was it for you I would not know what I would do. C.V at the end of the letters. I got up from my seat and asked the person that gave me the sandwich ” if they saw who put the note in my sandwich” .The person said “no”. I went back to sit down to think and to eat my shad which there was a northern note at the table that said “ your eyes are like honey and your hair is like the sun and voice is like the ocean C.V was at the end I looked around the mall but didn’t see anyone. I sat down and thought to myself. On who it was but could not think of anyone. Then my mom came up behind me and scared me. My mom said “ I got you”. I told my mom “ yes you got me”. And we both set down. My mom took a bite of my sandwich . And we started to talk at the restaurant and my mom was still eating my sandwich. When it was getting dark we left the mall and we walked to our car. But then my mom was getting dizzy. I could not figure out why she was getting dizzy now. She was just fine in the mall. But then I remember the shad which I ordered and that Someone noted. I think the subway sandwich had drugs in it. I hurried to put my mom in the car and tucked her to the hospital. When we got to the hospital I went inside to get some help. I yelled at the hospital desk and told them my mom needed help. The doctor ran out to wear my car and one of the doctors cared for my mom in the hospital. The doctor told me that “ I should go home and get some sleep and that he would call me”. I went home and called my friend. I told him what happened. He said “ he will come right over”.I wait half an hour till I hear my bell ring. I open up the door to see my friend there. And he had a box in his head. I ask him “what was in the box “ he said “ he doesn’t know and that he found it on the porch.” I ask “ if I could see the box” and he gives it to me. I open up the box and see a few letters. Some of them said that I forgot to tell you in the note that I left for you at the mall that I saw someone put something in your food. I tried to stop them but they ran off. I left the note and tried to get the stuff off your sandwich but you turned around I was freaking out so I ran off before you could see me. And I heard what happened to your mom. I am sorry. C.V at the end. I kept on thinking if I should believe the person and there was also a flower in the box. The flower was one of my favorite colors. Also mg favorite flower. I try putting the peace together. My head but that when my friend called my name. I asked him “ what he needs” he said “ well I was wondering what happened to your mom”. I said “ that someone put something in my sandwich that she ate”. He said “ is she going to be okay”. I told him “ I’m not sure the doctor told me to come home and get some sleep.” He said “okay do you want me to stay with you or anything.” I told him I’m not sure and that I am going to need some to stay with me”. He said “okay “. He asked “ are you hungry, do you want me to make you something to eat?''.  I said “ yes as long as it is your famous pancakes” . I told him. He smiled at me and said “ okay I make my famous pancakes for you “. He got out a pan and the mixer for the pancakes when we waited for a mint he put strawberry on top of the pancakes and melted it chocolate and put it on top of the pancakes too. He gives it to me and sat down with me. I ate the pancakes . He was looking at me so I asked him “ if he was hungry.” He said “ I am not hungry. And that I am just watching you eat to make sure you eat the pancakes and because you always get messy with the pancakes”. I laughed a little on what he said and so did he. I told him that I might stay up to try to figure out who was sending me letters or I might go to sleep. He said “ you should go to sleep and then figure it out in the morning, not right now set there already stuff in your mind”. I said “ you are right but I can’t help but wonder who it is and why the person like me? and how did they know where I was going?” I told him.  But he kept on saying I should go to sleep and not worry about it. I kept on wondering why he said that. So I asked him.  I said “ why do you keep saying that”. He said “ because I don’t think your mom would want you to have too much stuff to worry about”. I said “okay.” I went up to my room and Origen grabbed the box that had all the letters and stuff that I've gotten from someone that has a C.V probably in their name not sure yet. I put the box back and walked to the other side of my room to grab my PJ's and got in for bed. I went to bed and cried myself to sleep. I woke up the next day and went downstairs in my PJs and called the hospital to see if my mom was okay. The doctor said" that she is okay but is still asleep and might need to take medicine when she wakes up".
