Chapter Six Ending

“It was my mother's emergency money for if I needed it. Since I am leaving, I need to move it. Before they destroy it when they strip it down looking for her money. My mother was born from a wealthy family.” Bella explained.

Logan looked at Bella and nodded. He walked out next to her.

“Stash it under your seat in your car until you can get to your bank.” Logan whispered.

“I was thinking of hiding it in the room at yours.” Bella said.

“Not smart, if Kieran invites Stacey around.” Logan said.

Bella nodded.

Bella walked next to him, to their cars. Matt had already left to empty his car.

“Bella, I do hope you know that I will do my best to protect you. I saw the fire in you, and I was hooked. I want that fire to burn bright and shine. I will keep you safe.” Logan said.

“I think I believe you, but you have to trust me. Let me do things my way.” Bella said.

“I’ll do things both of our ways.” Logan said.

Bella rolled her eyes and laughed.

“I made you laugh again.” Logan said.

“I’ll deny it.” Bella said.

Logan hugged Bella, she surprised him by hugging Logan back.

Bella rested her head against his chest.

“We should get back. You have work in the morning.” Logan said softly.

Bella nodded.

Bella let go and walked to her car. Logan and her raced until they reached the main street. Bella smiled as she beat him to the driveway and pulled into the driveway. The staff were emptying the car still. Matt addressed them to empty her car and Logan’s car as well. Bella looked at Logan.

“How about you grab your pyjama’s and have a shower. By the time they are done, you might be able to go to bed.” Logan said.

Bella nodded.

Bella grabbed her pj’s and quickly followed behind Logan. He picked her up to carry her up the stairs. Kieran was watching them from the parlour. He was annoyed they went without him.

Logan helped take Bella’s heels off without her asking him to. Logan then put them on the chair outside the bathroom. Logan then unzipped her dress and then walked away while closing the door. Bella raised her eyebrow while looking confused. She wasn’t sure why he was being so nice. But had to ask herself if she is going to let herself be gullible and fall for it?

Bella hopped into the shower and washed away her make up, she cleaned her hair then she washed her body. Bella was hiding the bruise on her stomach that was forming. It was also on her outer thigh. But that was okay with her. Because she could say she fell. Bella then stood in the shower for a little bit and smiled as she thought about things, like why was their shower so much better? The water pressure felt great. It was amazing. Bella thought about how she was standing naked in their house after knowing logan for less than 48 hours. She needed to stop making herself look easy.

After her shower, Bella turned the tap off and dried her body. She wrapped her hair in the towel after getting dressed and Logan was waiting patiently with her shoes.

“Logan?” Bella asked.

“I am here to show you to your room.” Logan said sweetly.

Logan started to sound tired. Bella smiled at his voice changing.

“Okay, and thank you and your father for allowing this to happen.” Bella said.

Logan smiled. He stood up with her shoes in his hands. Logan walked next to Bella, he walked to the end of the hallway and opened up a door.

“This is your room, it’s opposite mine. And dad wanted to make sure I was tortured with not being able to flirt with you while you were here. So that’s why you are opposite me.” Logan said.

Bella laughed.

“I like how his humour works. Suffer Logan.” Bella said softly.

Logan looked at Bella.

“You don’t really want me to suffer, do you?” Logan asked.

Bella leaned closer to Logan.

“Maybe I do, maybe I don’t. That depends on you. You should shower and get some sleep.” Bella said softly.

Logan nodded.

Bella went back into her room and used her hair dryer quickly. Logan used the shower and then walked out to see his dad.

“How’s it going?” Matt asked.

“She loves your humour.” Logan said.

Matt laughed.

“Just keep an eye on her.” Matt said.

Logan nodded. He walked to his room with a towel around his waist. He heard Bella singing Hallelujah with the door opened as she was opening some of the things to find some clothes to wear for tomorrow. Logan stood there as he watched and listened. Matt was about to say something but Logan shook his head and gestured him to come closer. Matt came closer and listened to her singing. They stood in the doorway as they listened to her, she was unaware of them listening in the doorway.

Milly opened her door as the voice echoed in the hallway, even Kieran opened his door to listen. Milly walked to the door and stood with her jaw open.

“Love is not a victory march, it’s a cold and it’s a broken hallelujah.” Bella said in a long pitch.

She sang with perfect pitch. Her eyes were showing emotion as they saw her crying as she sang. When she finished the song Milly spoke loudly.

“YOU CAN SING!” Milly screamed.

Bella jumped and fell backwards with a squeal. Matt and Logan laughed as Bella fell on her butt.

“Can you sing me to sleep?” Milly asked.

“Um, okay.” Bella said.

Bella looked at Logan.

“Why are you only wearing a towel?” Bella asked.

“I always wear a towel to the room. I got distracted hearing you singing and got dad to hear you. But then everyone heard you.” Logan explained.

Bella looked at Matt as he nodded.

“You drew Kieran and Milly from their rooms. Your voice is wonderful Bella.” Matt said.

“Can you please sing to me?” Milly asked.

Bella nodded.

“I can sing to you.” Bella said.

“Can you sing to me too?” Logan asked.

“Shut up Logan.” Matt laughed.

“But I want Bella to sing to me too.” Logan said.

“And I want you to wear some damn pants. Looks like we both don’t get what we want.” Bella said.

Matt laughed.

“Bella, would it be okay if Milly slept in here with you?” Matt asked.

“Of course.” Bella said.

“Milly, go get your things.” Matt said.

Milly laughed and ran to her room.

Milly came back with her unicorn plush toy, her blanket and her pillow. Kieran watched with a raised eyebrow.

“Night daddy.” Milly said.

She went into the room and Bella laid the blanket on the bed and tucked Milly in again. Milly smiled as she cuddled into Bella.

“Sing to me.” Milly said.

“What do you want to hear?” Bella asked.

“Anything.” Milly said.

Bella nodded. She started to sing Into you by Ariana Grande and Milly cuddled into her as Bella stared at the ceiling while singing. Matt and Logan watched.

“You might want to chose something with slower beats for her to sleep.” Logan whispered.

Bella stopped the song.

“Shut up Logan.” Milly complained.

Bella laughed.

“I got it, thanks. Now get some damn pants on!” Bella said loudly.

Bella threw a pillow at Logan, causing them all to laugh.

"Careful, i might drop my towel." Logan joked.

Logan laughed and walked to his room.

Logan left his door open as he got dressed.

Matt rolled his eyes.

“He’s not used to girls here, forgive him.” Matt said.

“I will, after torturing him.” Bella said.

Milly high fived Bella. Bella started singing Runaway by Aurora then Dancing on my own by Robyn.

She looked to her left and saw Milly was asleep. Bella tucked her up properly. Matt was gone, Logan was sitting in the hallway and watching her with his eyes slowly closing.

“Logan?” Bella asked softly.

“Hm?” Logan asked.

“Go to bed.” Bella said softly.

Logan shook his head. Bella walked towards him. She helped him stand up.

“You aren’t sleeping in the hallway.” Bella said.

Bella was leading him to his room.

“No, I’d rather make sure you have a good first night.” Logan said.

Bella sighed.

“Fine, if you touch my ass in your sleep, I will break your d**k off.” Bella said.

Logan followed Bella to her bed.

Logan climbed into Bella's bed behind her and she slept between them. Bella felt both of them hugging her, she had to admit this was the first time she felt safe. And when she woke up, she was against his chest.

Bella had her leg over him unintentionally and was feeling his arousal. He was snoring lightly and she looked at his facial features. Bella tried to climb over him carefully.

Bella accidentally slipped onto his stomach and woke him up. He had a small smile after the startled expression disappeared.

“Morning.” Logan said in a tired voice.

Bella covered his mouth quickly with her hand.

“Shh, Milly is sleeping. I have to get ready for work.” Bella whispered.

Logan pulled her close for a quick hug then let her go and hugged her pillow. Bella looked confused.

“You really love cotton candy.” Bella whispered.

He chuckled.

“Only on you. Be careful.” Logan whispered.

Logan fell asleep again. Bella heard him snoring and got changed in her room.

Bella quickly brushed her hair and put it up then grabbed her bag for work. Secretly she was doing a job that wouldn’t get realised it was done until she was at school.

Bella walked out of the room, she saw Matt downstairs and let him know that Logan and Milly were asleep in her room peacefully. Bella let him know Logan was worried she was going to have a bad night so she let him sleep in the room as well.

Bella took off, she reminded him she’d be late because of the gym and band practice. She had clothes for the gym in a bag that she had in another bag to show Matt. He nodded, Bella gave the address of the club and told her about the gig. She also pulled a face and said that Logan snores. Matt laughed.

“How was Milly?” Matt asked.

“She was adorable. She cuddled me all night. Reminded me of myself when I slept next to my mother.” Bella said.
