Chapter Six Kann turned on the overhead light in the kitchen and set Penny’s bag of groceries down on the counter. He unloaded and checked for things that needed to be chilled. Only a pint of ice cream. He grabbed it and popped it into the freezer behind him and left the rest of her stuff in an organized pile on the counter. The cabin was icy cold.
