“Nikolai?”. She murmurs, her head c****d to the side trying to figure out where she knows him from. “Nope, sorry, the name doesn’t ring a bell. I don’t think I’ve seen you before and if I have, I don’t remember”.
“Oh no, we’ve never met. This is the first time”.
“Oh, alright”. She nods, chuckling softly but then her expression turns fierce. “Then why did you kidnap me?!!”. She asks in a menacing voice, tugging hard at the rope.
“I was sent by someone to bring you back to New York”.
“Who? Brian?”. The thought of Brian wanting her back makes her heart skip a bit in expectation.
“If you are referring to the Black Dragon, then no. He does not know that you are here. Someone else sent me”.
