Chapter 21

Sophies POV

It seems like hours since I felt the warm kiss from Jason and the tingling sensation and sparks I feel on my skin from the contact we have. I feel strange almost like I have no bodily mass. My eyes flick open I take in my surrounding unhook myself from the machines I seem to be linked to. I feel lonely there is no one with me. I have this strange weightless sensation as I slowly leave the bed. I walk over to the bathroom to take in my appearance. I'm a little taken back by what I see. My long hair hangs in curls my skin is almost glowing and my eyes are an icy blue. I move my hair to see that my crescent moon mark is now a perfect circle and emitting a white light. I trace my finger around it. I drop my gown to take in my whole appearance. I have no scars no anything. Just pure untouched, unmarked skin. As I walk out of the room I feel a pull and follow it. Its like I'm gliding, like I'm being pulled to something, I hear a few gasps and murmers I don't look to see where they have come from. 

I look up to see the full moon high in the sky the moons radiance washes over me and I feel even more weightless. A smile spread across my face. I look down to see a white dress appearing over my what was naked body. I cant believe i left the hospital in nothing yet it doesn't actually bother me.

That's when I see him. 

My Mate. 

Jason. 

He shifts into his wolf with his pack and takes off to the woods. 

"Jason come to me" I whisper into the nights air and walk to the moon flower field running my hands although the flowers. I sit amongst them and wait. 

Jason's POV

I'm so glad I listened to her she was right I did have to be here. I could see it on the faces of the new shifters in my pack. Alys and Adrean have made this such a memorable night. There isn't many packs that can say they have celebrated a full moon with the Moon goddess. They both gave blessings for smooth shifts that was very much appreciated. We feasted on fantastic food. Sophie never far from a single thought. We all headed outside for the shift with our moon goddess watching over us. Once the last one shifted I followed suit and took off into the woods letting out my wolf. As we take off I hear an intoxicating voice. It was like a whisper in the air.

"Jason come to me" I can't deny the voice and take off following the voice. Thats when I smell it that sweet, sweet smell of my mate. I was a little confused when the voice doesn't take me to the hospital but to the field of moonflowers. 

Thats when I see her 

My beautiful mate 

My Goddess, Sophie. 

Her raven hair falling down her back against her pail skin that is shining under the moonlight. She turns to me and her eyes capture me ice blue eyes that shine like diamonds. I stalk over to her, drinking her in, my wolf purring in appreciation for our mate. I lay my head in her lap as she strokes my fur. Her touch is spine tingling. 

"Shift" she whispers into my ear. Without a second thought I did as she said. My eyes locking with hers. 

"Your back" I barely get out there is something about her that has stolen my breath away. 

"I will always come back to you" she says placing her hands either side of my face. I lean in kissing her with everything I had. She returns with as much enthusiasm as I. I need her. I need her to know how much I need her. I lick her bottom lip and she happily gives me entrance to her mouth. I explore her mouth our tongues fighting for dominance. We both separate catching our breath. She looks up at the moon with a glorious smile on her face. She sta ds taking my hand and I follow her. Never asking where she is leading us I just follow. She leads me back to the pack house to wait for the packs return. 

As we near the house I see Alys and Adrean run out of the door. Both looking shocked to see the two of us hand in hand. 

"Oh my" Alys gasps, falling onto her knees. Adrean leans down and holds her as tears fall. 

"Mother, why do you cry" Sophie tilts her head to one side almost confused by her parents reaction. She kneels down infront of them taking a hand from each of them.

"Sophie my dear, dear Sophie, I can't believe its finally you after all this time it is really you" Alys says stroking the side of Sophies face. 

I watch the family infront of me finally back together after all this time apart. As I look at Adrian and Alys I can't help but realise since I saw them at the blessing they have aged. Not loads but they look older somehow. I shake the thoughts from my head as I feel myself being pulled into a huge family hug.
