Chapter 20

Jason's pov

I wake up and stretch I look down at my beautiful mate and think back to my dream. For the first time since she has been brought here I feel well rested. I jump up and head to the shower in her hospital room grabbing clean clothes from the bag Sammy brings by daily. 

I walk into the shower and let the hot water hit my skin. I think back to our conversation and how damn sexy she was and how much I can't wait to fully mate with her. I can feel a throbbing between my legs and can feel my hardness growing. I turn the cold water on hoping it will go but the more I will it to go the harder it seems to become as I can't remove the images of Sophie from my mind. I know there is only one way this is going and I will have to deal with it myself. I take my length in my hand and begin to pump myself thinking of Sophie and how I wish she was here with me how we could be giving each other the ultimate pleasure that only a mate can give. I feel my movements getting harder and faster and more urgent I bite my lip to stop the moans and grunts of pleasure escaping my lips. All too soon I find my release. I finish my shower and get myself cleaned up. I'm shocked at what I have just done but it had to be done. 

As I dress and leave the bathroom I hear the door open and footsteps head towards the bed I stand and just watch as 2 of the younger pack members bring in a bunch of flowers and put them in the vase next to Sophie's bed.

"Hi Luna, I'm George and I'm 6 and this is my best friend in the entire world, Gabby" I hear him say. I haven't even introduced her properly to the pack as there Luna and yet they all seem to like her, and know who she is. I can't help but smile. He leans in closer to Sophie and whispers to her "I hope she will be my mate when we are older" I can't hold back the chuckle building up I side and I have to let it out. George jumps and the sound of my laughter. "Alpha Jason you scared me" he says all red faces trying to compose himself infront of Gabby. 

"Get over here you to" I kneel down and open my arms for the embrace I know is coming. "So have you two been good or is Sammy going to be telling me you have been up to mischif since I haven't been around that much" they both look at eachother and think for a moment. 

"Well there may have been one thing. I mean it wasn't totally our fault" I raise an eyebrow to them and they continue. "We may have caught a few mice and let them go in the kitchen when  the omegas were cooking dinner" with that they both burst out laughing. I do my best to give them a stern look but I can only imagine what the commotion in the kitchen would have been like and I can't stop the smile spreading across my face and the tears of laughter from falling. 

"I see our Luna will have her hands full with you 2 causing trouble won't she" and we all look towards sophie. 

"Hmm, maybe" they both chuckle. I can't help but join them. Whilst my thoughts wonder to the future and the family we will have. The smile obviously showing on my face when I'm brought from my thoughts. 

"There you 2 monkeys are, do you know how much chaos you caused" Samuel glares at the little ones and I can see them both trying not to laugh as Samuel tries to do the same he eventually cracks. "That was so funny, but really when we have important guests? I think you may want to avoid the kitchen for the rest of the day. Now why don't you both go play and stay out of trouble I need to talk to our Alpha" 

They both nod " Bye Alpha Jason" they sing in unison, and knock me over with a big wolf hug. I can't help but chuckle. I have missed being around for the young ones. They both climb off and run out of the hospital room. 

"Thinking about your future were you?" Samuel smiles smugly as if he knows what I was thinking about when he walked in. 

"What brings you over here" I ask curious as to why he didn't just mind link me. 

" Well 1 I wanted to let you know that everything is ready for tonight, 2 I wanted to check on both of you as you always say your are fine but never seem it yet today you seem rather happy like something has changed" I just stand there and smile letting him continue" and 3 we have found 6 daylighter compounds around the city. Wait has something changed?" He rounds back to his second point but I focus on his last point. 

"I want a map of the city with the compounds highlighted in my office ready for tomorrow morning. For now we need to get ready for tonight's celebration" 

"Wait you mean you are coming? You are going to lead it?" I simply nod and smile "thank the moon goddess. That is 1 huge stress off of me" Samuel laughs. "Its good to have you back Alpha" and do you know what it feels good knowing I will be doing my goddess given job. I have Sophie to thank for that. 

"Lets just say I don't want to piss off our future moon goddess" I take sophie's hand and place a small kiss on the back of her hand. "She is one of a kind Sammy and I have you to thank for bringing her here in the first place, now let's get a move on I lean down and kiss Sophie on the forehead "see you later moon flower" and with that we leave her. 

She will be okay, she has to I keep repeating to myself. My wolf reassures me as well and with that I go to prepare for tonight.
