Chapter 23

Jason POV 

After I left Sophie I went straight to my office. I know she has been through so much and I want her to feel special. The day she was injured I had been to the shopping center and as I walked around a simple saphier and diamond necklace caught my eye. The second I saw it I thought about it sitting around Sophie's neck and bought it there and then. I wanted to give it to her that night. But we all know what happened there. I cant wait to give it to her. I planned our date for this evening. I am not planning on leaving the pack grounds. I need to keep her safe. Samuel walks in and it talking away. I'm snapped out of my thoughts of Sophie by Sammy hand waving infront of my face. 

"What do you want" I grunt, frustrated by his interruption.

"Well you said you needed help with planning tonight" he says in a 'duh' way

"s**t, I forgot sorry Sammy" I say with a cheesy grin 

"So what do you need?" 

"You know the garden on the east side of the land? Where there is that little stream and a gazebo. Well I want a table and  2 chairs there. Can you get our best chef on cooking us something incredible. I just want it to be amazing and relaxing and then I want to ask her if she will be our Luna. I know she has been introduced as my mate but I want her to accept the role of Luna herself." I beam. I just want her now. I know we talked about the marking but I dont care if I have to wait another month I just want her to be healthy and happy. Actually I do care my wolf and I are going nuts we just want to mark her and show everyone she is mine. Now people know the daughter of the moon goddess has been found we are going to be getting a lot of attention and a lot of wolves are going to come for her. I get this strange sensation across my body and I know it has to do with Sophie I feel panic and uncertainty not from me but from her. I have to find her now. 

Sophie POV

After my parents left me I went to Jason's room. Well our room as he keeps telling me. I lay on the bed with my eyes closed when my body starts to shuffle and change I feel strange to say the least. As I open my eyes I look down in shock where I was once laying is now a wolf. A completely show white wolf, I start to panic. I'm not a werewolf I'm the daughter of the moon goddess but not a werewolf. I haven't been marked or bitten so how is this happening. I can't control it I feel adjitated and uneasy I jump off the bed and catch my reflection.

 I am huge.

Far bigger that Jason's wolf. But the wolf looking back at me is beautiful. So pretty her snow white fur looks super soft. Panic sets in again as realisation dawns on me that I have no idea how to turn back onto my human form i call for my mother amd I can sence Jason coming. 

The second I call for my mother she appears

"Oh my Sophie this is a new one for me" 

Mother how do I turn back?" I ask in full panic mode

I'm not entirely sure my moon light. I have never been a wolf I mean I have my own wolf that resides in me however we are separate entites not as one, like you seem to be. Your mate should be able to help with this" as she finishes speaking Jason somes sliding into the room panic in his eyes and holds dead infront of me. His eyes change colour "mine" he growls in a low tone. 

Damn I love it when he is like this. 

He shakes his head as if to clear his thoughts. "Sophie is that you" he kneels down looking into my eyes and scratches behind my ear. "Wow you are the most beautiful wolf I have ever seen. My wolf goes all soppy and rolls onto her belly for him to scratch. This is so embracing is all I can think as my wolf Selene carry on this over the top behaviour with our mate. "I want this attention" i sulk. 

Jason looks into my wolf eyes again. "Can I talk to Sophie please" and with that I feel my consciousness being push forward finally. "Sophie I need you to calm down close your eyes and listen to me. Can you do that?" I nod my gigantic wolf head and do as he asks. I feel him kiss the top of my head and I take some deep breaths. 

"Right i want you to picture your body, think about your human form, keep breathing that's it" he kisses my head again as the funny feeling comes over me again

 I feel 2 strong arms wrap around me and pull me onto his lap nuzzling his head into my hear and I hailing deeply. Without opening my eyes I know it is Jason, he smells incredible like apples and mixed spices. It makes me think of Christmas. I have never realised his scent until now, it is amazing and I feel like it's a drug as I nuzzle my head into his chest to get more of it. I can feel his body shake with laughter. "Guess you have the wolfs ability of smell". I look up at him and nod. "Now you know why I love holding you close". 

My mother is stood laughing at the two of us. " I shall leave you both to it. I guess you have a lot to discuss now don't you" she turns and leaves us. I look up at Jason again sad see his eyes glazed over. No sooner does his eyes turn back to the mesmerising green there is a knock at the door "come in" the door opens and a small older lady walks in "you can leave it on the side, thank you" he says his eyes never leaving mine. 

"I thought you might be hungry after your first shift" he coos as he picks me up and carries me to the bed once I am down he turns and grabs the tray. As I see the tray full of all my favourite things I can't contain my excitement and he was so right I was starved. 

 Sweet waffles with Nutella and raspberries, flaming hot doritos, duck pancakes. 

Jason lays on the bed opposite me and chuckles. "Guess I was right about the hunger" I try to give him my best glare but im too engrossed in the amazing fruit infront of me. "How did you end up as a wolf and in our bedroom of all places.?" 

"I came in here after talking to my parents" I mumble between mouthfuls "and I was thinking, how lucky I was to be the future goddess of these amazing creatures. Next thing I know I felt weird and bam I was a wolf" 

"Wait you felt no pain" 

"Nope not a thing" I shrug popping another raspberry on my mouth. 

" did you hear your bones break or anything?" He asks in awe 

"Nope 1 second I'm in human form next thing I'm a wolf" Jason just stares at me eyes filled with different emotions awe, wonder, lust and consern. 

What's that look for I wonder. I try to continue eating but the concern in his eyes has me going mad. "Why do you look concerned?" 

"I don't" he tries to protest. I raise my eye brows and he lets out a sigh "fine i give up just stop giving me that look". He lowers his head rubs the back of his neck searching for the right words than looks at me again. "Its just concern over how you control it. I mean I instinctively turn into my wolf when I feel it nessasary for protection or safety. O can also control it to stop my wolf taking over in certain situations. But for you from what you have said I don't know how it works"

Now its my turn to sigh he is right i need to work this out and soon. "Will you help me" I almost whisper looking at my hands. 

He puts his finger under my chin to make me look at him "it would be my honor to help you" I beam at his response and dive over the tray and into his arms lacing my arms around his neck pulling him in closer kissing hum deeply with my hands roaming his hair. He bites my bottom lip to gain access and I am more than willing to give him. After a while we pull away breathing heavily. 

I sit up and look at him hopefully "can we start on controlling this wolf now I ask" he chuckles and nods his head taking my hand and leading us outside.
