The night before the wedding arrived like a death sentence wrapped in white silk. My wedding dress hung in the corner of the bedroom like a silent judge. Leo had respected tradition and was staying at a hotel with his groomsmen. I was alone in our apartment, surrounded by flowers 🌹gifts, and the life I was supposed to be thrilled about. Instead, I felt like I was drowning. My phone had been blowing up all day. Leo’s messages were filled with love: Leo Lugard: I can’t wait to see you walk down the aisle tomorrow, my beautiful bride. You make me the luckiest man alive. I love you forever. ❤️ John’s messages were fire: John Larry: Don’t do it. I’m staying at the hotel near the church. Room 1427. Come to me tonight. Let me remind you who you really belong to. At 11:30 p.m., I cracked.
