*** The heart is after all the heart It's a sweet difficulty My love My love My life From the heart Two leaves from the autumn had come down from the tree They had come down from the branches of the tree Then all these seasons passed by, both those poor leaves To be born again they passed through this wilderness Those leaves were hearts Dil Se Re — Dil Se *** Under the man's dark gray gaze, Delisha became swayed. His black wings twitched as if ready to engulf his surroundings in darkness. Devdas, the embodiment of an angel in the human imagination, a handsome young man with a beautiful body and large wings on his back. A work of art. Mysterious, but beautiful and mesmerizing. “M-Mr Devdas ?!” A woman in a blazer suit holding a paper cup filled with hot coffee. She reached into the bag on her shoulder for a tissue. “Excuse me, sir, let me clean your clothes,” she said, approaching Devdas, but the tall man shook his hand, “Don't touch me!” he said coldly. One of the five bodyguards immediately raises to prevent the woman from touching Devdas. The incident became a spectacle for people in the lobby. They know that Devdas is not an ordinary public figure. He's someone who can do whatever he wants without any objections. He has a power that both terrifies people and praises him. The woman became nervous and pointed at Delisha, “This is the woman's fault! She spilled my coffee ....” Devdas did not like anyone sounding loud in front of him. He took the coffee in her hand and poured the hot coffee over her head, causing the audience to sigh in surprise, including Delisha. The woman in the black blazer was shaking and shrieking in heat. “Who are you, dare to decide that?” said Devdas. “Pour yourself coffee, not someone else's body!” He squeezed the paper cup in his hand and threw it at the woman's face. “M-mister Devdas, forgive me ....” Devdas only needed to swing his finger, the woman was already removed from his presence. Delisha never expected to meet Devdas at Khan's Enterprise, let alone in that way. The man looked intimidating and untouchable. His five bodyguards, all like spider monsters, stood guard by his side. Delisha slowly stepped back as Devdas hands were being cleaned by his guards. She had to stay away from that man. “Where do you think you're going, miss?” scolds Devdas with sharp eyes, leaving Delisha frozen in place. “I ... want to clean my clothes,” Delisha said, smiling awkwardly. She clutched the bag tightly to her shoulder, getting ready to flee. Ah, her smile was so sweet, Devdas heart warmed. But the muscles of his face that had been petrified for too long made him look cold with dark eyes like a cruel murderer. He didn't know how to express his joy. The irregular beating of his heart only made him feel like he wanted to pounce on the woman. “So you want to run away, don't you?” he said, grinning. “Ha?” Delisha just dumbfounded, Devdas was already gripping her arm and dragging her out of the lobby. “M-sir, what are you doing ??” Delisha whined as she tried to stop Devdas in her tracks, but the man pulled her too fast and too strong. A golden APV type car approached them in the courtyard of Khan's Enterprise. Two men sat in the front seat. The car door was opened by one of his men, Devdas took Delisha into the car. Half thrown, Delisha sat down on a soft leather chair. Quietly Devdas sat opposite her. The door closed tightly and the car drove away from Khan's Enterprise. Only the two of them were in the passenger room. The inside of the APV car is quite spacious and is equipped with luxury accessories such as a refrigerator and mini bar, compartment tools, and a chair that can be opened to become a place for a nap. Delisha tried to calm down. She was after this man, but this was not the way to go. He glanced sharply at Devdas. The man stared at her without blinking. His gray eyes darkened, so did the atmosphere between them. Is this how he got his victims? So easy and no one stands in the way. “Sir, you take me by force, I can report this as a kidnapping,” Delisha tried to threaten politely. She took out her cell phone and typed the keyboard to call the police. But in an instant, her cellphone altered hands. Devdas Star Tailes clutches her cell phone and keeps it in the chest pocket of his jacket. Delisha stared. “Sir, you took away my cellphone too, that means two crimes you have committed to me,” complained Delisha but the man ignored her. Devdas pressed the speaker button on the arm of his chair. “Find the nearest clinic!” he said to the driver. Clinic? Delisha was even more surprised. Hands folded across chest. Crossed legs. The man with his mouth closed and his jaw hardened just stared with dark eyes. Occasionally Delisha tugged at her shirt because she felt a bit sore from the hot water. “Sir, I don't know you, why did you take me?” Delisha asked after a few minutes of silence. Devdas even snorted. “You don't recognize me? Don't lie, Miss Marianne Webster, or whatever your name is!” he said disappointed. Delisha clears her throat worried that Devdas might find out her real identity. “I know you are famous, Mr. Devdas, but I don't know you personally. We are just strangers.” Those words were like sharp blades stabbing through his chest. Devdas face darkens. Seeing him, Delisha shuffled away from Devdas. “How long have you been with Xin Corp?” asked Devdas in an interrogating voice. “It's been years ...” since childhood she has known Xin Corp and knows its ins and outs. “Is the pay good?” Delisha is already part of the Xin family, she never gets paid because she is not an employee of Xin Corp, but all her needs are fulfilled like a daughter of the Xin family. “Not bad ...,” Delisha replied modestly. The car stopped and the car door was opened by his bodyguard, Devdas immediately pulled Delisha out and entered the building, a fairly luxurious clinic in ND City, which Delisha recognized as dr. Zaara's clinic. Behind the car, followed the SUV of Devdas escort. They swiftly accompanied their master. Dr. Zaara, who happened to just arrive at the parking lot, saw them. Her forehead knitted in surprise. “Delisha? CEO of Devdas Star Tailes?” She was silent for a moment then smiled grinning, “Fhuhuhuhu ....” Imdad would be very happy to know this. Escorted by bodyguards, Devdas and Delisha headed to the emergency room to get first aid. The medics there were shocked to see the public arrival of their godlike figures. If they knew that such an extraordinary guest would arrive, they would have made preparations in advance. While walking, Devdas men explained what happened to their master and the lady he was carrying. Devdas and Delisha sat on an examination bed which was located next to each other, only limited by a waterproof curtain. Devdas opened his shirt in front of a male nurse. He took off all of his tops, showing light brown skin with a muscular chest and broad shoulders. Devdas' chest looked fine even though he was scalded, there was no injury whatsoever. The nurse who handled him only cleaned the remaining coffee liquid in his chest with clean water. “Miss, can you take off your clothes?” asked a female nurse to Delisha. Delisha unbuttoned the front button of her robe revealing the skin of her chest that was redden from light blisters and some red patches that a paramedic knew was not an injury, but an imprint of someone's lips. Delisha's face was flushed red from just realizing this, while the nurse held back a smile and avoided making eye contact with her. After cleansing with an antiseptic solution, the nurse handed her a tube of gel to treat the blisters. “Here, miss, apply this cream as soon as possible to relieve the heat and pain. Repeat at least twice a day. Do I need to help apply it?” “No, no need, I can apply it myself, thank you very much, sister!” said Delisha while receiving the gel. The nurse left her, and she started applying clear gel to the skin on her chest, just as Devdas opened the curtains between their bed. The shirtless man pulled her hand to stare at the open cleavage area with darting eyes. The man's jaw tightened in an instant and his teeth grinded. Devdas saw the kiss mark on the woman's chest and his heart was inflamed. Delisha jerked her hand out of Devdas's grip and immediately fastened her clothes. “What the hell are you doing, Mr. Devdas? How rude are you!” snapped Delisha. Devdas straightened himself and lifted his chin. He said curtly, “For a lowly slave, your skin is quite thick. A cup of hot coffee will leave no marks on your skin.” Delisha snorted at the way the man communicated as if other people had no value in his eyes. Delisha got down from the examination bed and stood before Devdas. Her height was just a little below Devdas' shoulders, making her have to look up at the man's face. With a sarcastic smile, Delisha replied, “Well, thanks for your concern, Mr. Devdas, I do have thick skin, but not as thick as you, am I right?” She saw that there was no trace of any injury on Devdas chest, even though the coffee water was very hot, at least his skin should have turned red. Delisha put her shawl over her shoulder and gripped her bag then pushed Devdas. “Get off!” she snapped and walked towards the nurse on duty table. Two of Devdas bodyguards blocked his way, “Our master is not finished with you, miss!” they said. Delisha turned and saw Devdas standing behind her, shirtless, wearing his outer suit elegantly. His eyes were staring sharp. “Quit Xin Corp!” exclaimed Devdas coldly, buttoning his suit. He gave orders as if he had decided everything. “What??” Delisha was startled. “I'll give you whatever salary you ask for and whatever position you want in my company.” “What ?? Mr. Devdas ... did you just bribe me ?? You are trying to thwart Xin's contract with Khan's in this way? Mr. Devdas, you are totally messing with the wrong person. I have no interest in working with you and I will never move from Xin for whatever reason. You're embarrassing yourself.” Devdas smiled wryly. Cursing the puppeteer up there, it seems they are really playing with his life. The only love in her life did not recognize him, even working on the opposite side of him. “So you want Khan's? All right, I'll give Khan's to you,” he said plainly. The woman's eyes widened in amazement and stepped closer to him. Delisha was surprised by the behavior of that one man. Is this one way of getting the attention of the victim? “Oh? You are very generous, Mr. Devdas. No wonder people call you a 'Star of Hope.' So what do you want in return?” Delisha asked with her chin raised at Devdas. Devdas replied with grilled teeth and lowered his head, looking into his Chandni's eyes, “In return, you will have to pay me with your body.” Delisha's face was very close to his, “For all your lifetime!” he continued. “You speak as if I owe you a life. Mr. Devdas, has power made you lose your mind?” “You do owe me your life!” “What?!” Not having time to continue her protest, Devdas threw his white coffee-stained shirt at Delisha's face. Delisha's eyes grew rounder. “What ??” Delisha was flabbergasted with the shirt in her hand. Devdas pressed the shirt with his forefinger. “This shirt is the only one in the world, because of your carelessness it is dirty. I want this shirt to come back to me clean!” said Devdas. Before Delisha had time to understand what the man meant, Devdas had already thrown a golden card in her face. “This is the key to my room!” he said then reached into something in the pocket of his coat and pulled out Delisha's cell phone. He was typing something on the cell phone. “And this is my number!” he said again and threw the cellphone on the owner's face. The objects fell in Delisha's arms who was amazed. Delisha felt like she was dreaming in broad daylight. The man with a dead facial nerve appears to be just a rich man, but his behavior does not reflect the elegance of a rich and educated person. Is the richest person in the world this tacky? Delisha couldn't help thinking. She had not finished thinking, Devdas had walked with his bodyguards to leave the clinic. In his car, a faint smile appeared on Devdas lips. He has everything in this world and he is ready to give everything for Chandni. The woman will not be able to resist him. He cried out cheerfully in his heart, Chandni, aldee se mere paas aao, mere jeevan ka pyaar... Chandni, come quickly to me, love of my life... * * *
