21. Crazy

Delisha had a special crush on a man for the first time, she felt how bad it was to be jealous. Curled up in the dark, enduring the chill of the night and exposed to the humid night air, feet tingling and being bitten by mosquitoes, while far away, men and women sit together enjoying dinner accompanied by candles and a bouquet of red roses. The two men had dinner at a contemporary European-style restaurant with rounded iron tables and chairs. Clear glass windows along the walls show off the luxury in the restaurant. Delisha peered through the binoculars. Her lips curled downward, sneering at Imdad Hussain's behavior to his date. She saw them occasionally sipping wine, chatting and laughing, then kissing affectionately. Go ahead, kiss hyena! Delisha said silently. The woman who was with Imdad was very beautiful with red lips and black hair flowing like satin. But in her sight, the woman was just a black hyena ready to pounce. {{ Hyena looks like a dog because it has pointed ears and a long muzzle. Like dogs, hyenas are not very good at climbing trees and rely on bites rather than scratches. Like cats, the hyena has a habit of marking its territory with the smell of urine and feces that it excretes. Hyena is often identified with animals that are cunning and cowardly because they generally prey on small animals such as rats and carcasses of large animals that have been killed by other predators. Hyena looks like a loser who dares to fight. With his distinctive movement, which is back and forth then spinning and then running. That's always the style.}} Delisha and Sunil monitor Imdad from the roof of a 10-story building. Looking down, the restaurant is part of a small two-bedroom condominium-style inn. Apart from having dinner at a restaurant, Imdad also booked a condo. The man really wants to get a personal and intimate atmosphere with the woman. Delisha's brown hair was braided and in a bun behind her head, wearing black overalls like a ninja. She equipped herself with two muted revolvers at the waist. Two small daggers were hidden in her ankles. Delisha prepares herself for battle. She will invade Imdad and his partner when the time comes. "Why do we have to wait here for so long? Isn't the location of Imdad and that woman already clear?" muttered Delisha. "As instructed by Mr. Imdad, Marianne-ji, we are monitoring from afar, looking for any suspicious behavior from a distance," Sunil explained. "Two attempts to assassinate Mr. Imdad with a car bomb failed. God really loves Mr. Imdad, he always escapes death. Although it is very unfortunate that two of our members have become victims. Mr. Imdad is very sad especially our investigation has not been able to reveal the identity of the mastermind of all this. Here they send direct contact to finish off Mr. Imdad. That woman is an assassin named Soraya. Mr. Imdad openly made himself bait." "It would be easy for Mr. Imdad to finish her off, but Mr. Imdad wants to use that woman to lure his comrades and catch them, that way, we hope to have more sources of information. Mr. Imdad needs to know more clearly who sent Soraya." The gap between Delisha's two brows creased deeply. Indeed, from a business competition point of view, someone might want to take a shortcut to get rid of their opponent, but if they get to the stage of a planned assassination attempt, that person will definitely consider Imdad a very dangerous opponent. After hours of that sickening-looking romantic dinner, Imdad and Soraya head to their condo. The two people embraced each other while treading a rocky path. Soraya laughed and shrieked with amusement when Imdad kissed her on the neck, held her tight and fondled her, then carried the woman in his arms into the condo. Delisha clenched her fists. Just you wait, bit.ch, if I step in, I'll beat you up !! Delisha said silently. Sunil looks around the condo and sees a black SUV with the lights off, walking slowly through the trees near the condo, hiding in the dark. Five figures in black suits with ninja headscarves got out of the car. "Look, Marianne-ji, it looks like what we've been waiting for has arrived. They must be Soraya's comrades." Delisha fixed her eyes to her binoculars and focused in the direction Sunil meant. One black figure appeared to give the command to the other four figures. The four figures crept towards the condominium used by Imdad, while the figure who gave the command got into the car and left the place. "Ah, damn it, his head is covered! At this point Mr. Imdad's attempts to reveal the identity of that person are in vain!" accused Sunil. Delisha lowered her binoculars and looked at Sunil. The man with the worried face glanced at her then looked back questioningly. "What's the matter, Marianne-ji? Is there something you want to say?" "That person is Aftab Shivdasani, the manager of the Golden Star Hotel," said Delisha. Sunil's eyes widen at that. The man opened his mouth but was unable to say a word. Even though wearing a face covering and full-body suit, that didn't prevent Delisha's eyes from seeing someone's aura. Of course, she recognized the giant spider monster he had met at the Golden Star Hotel, none other than Aftab Shivdasani. Patting Sunil on the shoulder, the woman stands up and says excitedly, "Let's go down, Mr. Imdad might need our help to deal with the assassins." Without making a sound, the two people descended the building using a steel rope equipped with an automatic hook and pulley. They ran ducking through the bush and trees to the condominium where Imdad was. The four intruders had entered the condo through the back door that their colleague, Soraya, had deliberately unlocked. Delisha and Sunil crept up against the outside wall of the condo and heard a noise accompanied by a groan of pain and several whirring of bullets. They rushed into the condo with their guns in hand. The living room light turns on to make it easier for them to see the situation inside the condo. Delisha and Sunil point their guns at the dim bedroom. The door was wide open. There were no more loud noises they had originally heard. Sunil leans against the wall toward the door. "Mr. Imdad?" He exclaimed doubtfully. No answer. Delisha glanced into the room from across and saw the golden glow of Imdad's body moving up from the edge of the bed and bending down to put on trousers. "Raj?" called Delisha, making the glowing figure freeze for a moment. Delisha and Sunil entered the room and when Sunil turned on the light, they saw the conditions in the room. Bullet marks landed on walls, cabinets, and beds. Four bodies in black suits lay on the floor with gunshot wounds to their bodies. The bodies were holding firearms with the typical assassin in their hands. Blood began to seep out of the bodies. The naked woman's body is lying on the bed with a knife wound open on her neck. The woman's black hair hung down on the edge of the bed, her eyes and mouth wide open, her head held open because her neck had almost broken. Blood splattered on the headboard, walls, and surrounding furniture. The white bed sheet is stained with dark red which slowly spreads from under the woman's body until it almost covers the entire surface of the sheet. Delisha's eyes fluttered at the sight. Needless to say, she knew what Imdad had done to her. She felt unhappy and at the same time tried to be logical. This happened because Imdad was on a mission. She focused her attention on the bodies in the room. She didn't see any aura emitting from the bodies, because they were already dead. Their spirits are also not visible, even if they become haunted spirits, maybe a few days later they will appear. Imdad had no other choice but to kill them all. Imdad wore a shirt without buttoning it, displaying his muscular chest dense with sweat, and splattered with blood. Bloodstains also colored the plain white shirt. He looked at Delisha who was looking around the room. He didn't expect that woman's presence. "Boss, are you all right?" asked Sunil, putting away his gun and approaching Imdad. He saw if there were wounds on the man's body. "I'm fine," Imdad answered without taking his eyes off Delisha. His eyes were cold and sharp on that woman. The innocence shown by the woman's face made him want to pressure and intimidate her into realizing this kind of brutality was what an agent had to do to survive or simply complete a mission. Imdad pulled the blanket and threw it over the body of the woman on the bed to cover the naked body. The thick crimson liquid spread directly to the white cloth. Act professional! Delisha reminded herself not to get carried away with emotions. She busied herself examining the bodies of the assassins on the floor. Their headgear was removed and checked the belongings on their bodies for anything that could be used as a clue. On the other hand, she was trying to avoid Imdad's gaze at her. The man now was very different from what he was used to seeing. He still glowed golden, but the look in his eyes was fierce and cruel. No more warm and friendly glare. "Do you know the identity of the person who sent them?" Imdad asked Sunil. He turned his back on the man. His hands partially fasten his shirt, leaving the chest open. "Their license plate numbers are deliberately covered, the person in command of them are wearing headgear, the photos and footage that we get will not be of much use," replied Sunil while cleaning the dagger used by Imdad to kill Soraya. He also stored the gun that Imdad had used as well as several bugging devices in the small suitcase. "Oh!" Imdad sounded disappointed. "But Miss Marianne said it was Mr. Aftab Shivdasani, Manager of the Golden Star Hotel," added Sunil. "Aftab?" Imdad repeated, turning to Sunil. He knew Aftab. They are one university alumni and come from the same orphanage, Khuda Jaane. The man was shaking his head. "Haan, Imdad-ji. It was a fortune that Miss Marianne accompanied me this time. Just one glance she immediately knew who it was. Agents from Central Xin were really on top!" Imdad turned to Delisha. Delisha was bending over picking up an ampoule with two tiny needles from the floor. There was a thick greenish liquid in the ampoule about the size of that little finger. Seeing the position of its fall near the bed, it seemed that Soraya wanted to stick the ampoule while struggling with Imdad on the bed. Now that the woman died with an incision in her neck, Delisha was irritated. It would be more satisfying if she had finished off the woman. "The poison from the venom of the Indian cobra," muttered Delisha as she lifted the ampoule before her eyes. "In a dose of one ampoule, this will leave you paralyzed and in extreme pain but unable to move, until you die within 5-10 minutes of sudden cardiac arrest. Looks like she wants to make your death feel like a snake bite. " Death due to snake bites is common in India. She then looked at Soraya's body. "This woman deserves to die." "Leave it to Sunil, maybe it can be used to track where they got the object," ordered Imdad. Delisha shoves the ampoule at Sunil. Again, she was busy examining other things, like what color nail polish Soraya was using and how deep the cut Imdad had made on her neck. "How did you know the man was Aftab?" Imdad asked the woman who looked cowardly but knew so many things. He approached Delisha to strengthen his intimidation. Delisha got nervous and she cornered into the cupboard behind her. Oh, Imdad, I know that because my eyes can see the invisible, Delisha wanted to say that but she couldn't. "From the shape of his body," Delisha answered casually, "and from the way the man walked." Imdad seemed not satisfied with her answer. The man tried to look into her eyes. "Don't you know? The way a person walks is like a fingerprint, each person has their own characteristics." Delisha tried to argue in a knowing manner. Imdad knows that. It's just that the woman's way of speaking is inconclusive. Like a child trying to lie. "I met him twice at the Golden Star. He even took me to look around the hotel facilities." Delisha explained. "He is a very friendly man, I never thought he intended to finish you." Delisha suddenly felt curious. He squinted at Imdad. "Hmm, what kind of problem do you guys have that he intends to kill you? Hmm?" Imdad turned his back on her. "Business!" he replied briefly then stepped away from Delisha. He immediately ordered Sunil to call the post-mission handling team, which is a team that clears up all forms of chaos that have occurred, including handling bodies. Feels Imdad now trying to avoid her, Delisha became even more curious. She escorted Imdad out of the room. The man took such wide strides on his long legs that Delisha half-ran to keep up. They crossed the living room. "Business?" accused Delisha. "If it is only a business matter, with the current conditions. both Golden Star and Star Corp can naturally compete with Xin India in the business world. Trying to kill you multiple times with bombs and sending a team of hitmen, Imdad, this is no longer a matter of ordinary business. This is something very sensitive and crucial. " Imdad opened the door to a bedroom and entered the room while Delisha continued to accompany him. "Aftab Shivdasani probably has a grudge against you. I know you are alumni and both grew up in Khuda Jaane. What happened between you two?" the woman grilled. Imdad stopped suddenly causing the woman to hit his back. Quickly he turned around and put his hands on his hips, looking down into the eyes of the woman whose face was now almost pressed against his chest. "Miss Marianne, there is one more thing you must learn!" he said coldly in return with her round, warm brown eyes flickering. "... which is to know when to stop." Delisha's rosy ripe lips parted slightly from taking a deep gasp. As an agent, Imdad knows many female agents. They are graceful, assertive, convincing, and charming, experienced, know how to attract the opposite s*x. This woman--Imdad trying to find the right words--needs guidance. "The more you try to stay away from me, the closer you get to me. Now I'm the one trying to get away from you, you keep coming closer to me. Miss Marianne, how much do you feel attracted to me? ... like a puppy finding its master," he said sarcastically. Delisha was afraid. Her eyes began to tear up. The parable pierced the depths of her heart. "Imdad, why do you say that? You're not like usual ...," she muttered as she stepped back. She felt the parable was true. Now she was like a puppy who was afraid of being scolded by its master. Imdad's eyes darkened with his chin lifted, glared at her, advancing step by step to accompany the woman's steps back. "When someone dies in our hands, then some of the humans within us also die, Miss Marianne, you should know that," said Imdad. "The me who is currently standing in front of you may become a very different person in the future." The gazes of the two of them locked onto each other. Delisha was silent. "So, I warn you, Miss ...," continued Imdad, "... stay away from me while you still can." Delisha shook her head quickly. "I can not!" she answered almost in a whisper. The man continued to corner her. The door behind Delisha closed and the woman leaned against the door. Imdad wrapped her in his arms. "Why? Aren't you afraid of me?" Delisha swallowed hard. "Away from you ... scarier," she sighed with trembling lips. Seeing her helplessness, Imdad cupped her lips with his. The sip was strong and deep. Give her a lesson. Delisha was overwhelmed by the anticipation of the kiss. She gave a short groan in pain. She tasted the blood salty in her mouth. The man's body pressed against her as if forcing himself. The deep breath made the rancid smell of blood coming from Imdad's body. Soft fingers gripped Imdad's chest and his open shirt. She tried to push the man's body away, but her strength was weak, losing power as she began to be carried away by the longing that the man was giving off. Delisha couldn't think anymore. Her eyes were closed and her whole body was shaking softly. When Imdad softened the kiss, she couldn't help but wrap her hands around the man's shoulders, clinging there and letting him carry her in his arms. This is crazy, but I miss it.
