Meanwhile Zina, Torra, and Tarra
“What I’m thinking is I will be the first wave once Rurah comes, after if they get past me you two will be a little bit behind me somewhere on their route, then you will finish the rest of. Does that sound good or scrap it and come up with something better?” Zina asked. She was in the living room, a piece of paper in hand, a pencil in the other. She was drawing out plans. Torra, and Tarra sat on the opposite couch listening. Only speaking if they had a question or were asked to confirm something. They were the easiest people to talk to, and get to a conclusion faster. Zina liked them allot. They weren’t like Sin, and Danny at all; they would always be at each other’s throats trying to rip open the other.
“I get it. Assassins are like assassins alright. They may work in pairs, but they separate to get things done. Except for us. Since we can’t really separate, we’d become desperate,” Tarra said confidently. She was smarter than Torra. She listened well, and came up with good strategies nobody else could think of. She didn’t like to be separated from Torra just because Torra could easily get killed on his own without her.
Torra was munching on some sweats while sitting next to his twin. He was eating so loudly often here and then somebody would walk by and tell him to eat with his mouth closed. He listened, but he often screwed things up. He would usually forget what was just said about a half an hour after hearing it.
“Are you even paying attention Torra? This is very important if you don’t know,” Zina hissed.
“Sorry. I got cravings,” Torra said startled. He dropped what he was eating on the floor. The remints of the cookie broke into a bunch of tiny pieces. He looked up at Zina to see her bearing her teeth with her hand slapped against her face in anger.
“Torra! Why can’t you ever satisfy your brain by actually listening for once?” Tarra sighed.
“Hey, I said I was sorry! What more of an apology could you possibly want from me?” Torra screamed. He didn’t like being put on the spot like this. It made him angry; not only at himself but everyone else around him. He hated it. He usually would have left, and sulked in his room with his teddy bear by now.
“It’s okay. All of this was sudden. I don’t expect anyone to be all on board and understanding of it all,” Zina sighed; she sank back on the chair, and rested her feet on the table. She took long deep breaths. They seemed to soothe her from rage.
“Rurah is so close to our base I’m not sure why they haven’t tried to attack us yet before. It just seems so odd that they would chose now of all times when Sin is gone and disappeared on us. Although we know where she is going to,” Tarra said. She was in a thinking mood. Torra hated it when this happened. She would spend so much time thinking she wouldn’t realize how tired, and how much time has passed, or if she even got too sick from thinking so much.
“Yeah. Maybe that man set us up or something stupid like it,” Torra said with some amusement.
“Set us up?” Zina’s ears popped forward. She was attentively listening now. Was it that whenever someone said something about her sister she wanted to listen? Her sister was her blood; she may not know who their actual parents where, but she knew who her siblings were. That would never change. She wanted to protect the two things in the world she was close to; even if it means to sacrifice her life for them.
“Yeah, like maybe; that man wanted Sin so badly, and he knew Helios and Rurah were enemies so, to get Sin he decided to pin point Rurah against us to force Sin to leave?” Tarra thought out loud.
“That doesn’t explain why Sin would also leave to that guy cause; he said he was going to destroy the solar system,” Torra said.
“Maybe, just maybe that was a lie,” Tarra said.
“A lie?” Zina asked. She raised her head, and stared at Tarra. “Tarra’s so smart,” Zina thought to herself, “Of course she would catch the obvious so quickly,” Zina thought.
“Yes. He might have lied to make sure Sin went to him. He may be scared to be without her so, he lied to force Sin to come to him,” Tarra smacked her fist on her hand with a smile.
“Wow so quick, so quick,” a voice clapped out.
Zina stood up straight. The voice was coming from the hallway, she could smelled ozone after a lightning strike, rust, foulness, a trap, “Show yourself! You there in the hallway; I can smell you droid,” Zina growled.
“My, my. It really isn’t easy to get passed a werewolf’s nose is it? You really are fascinating,” a small doll like girl stepped out of the shadows. Her hair was white, she wore a white winter coat, full of fluff on the top and bottom of it, she wore little white boots, only her eyes were pink, her skin a peach color, but smooth like a dolls.
Zina growled in a low voice.
“Who might you be?” Tarra asked.
“Wow. She’s so beautiful,” Torra stared at the girl. He was drooling a little. Tarra gave him a quick death glare that snapped him back to.
“Alice was given orders to watch you guys,” the girl yawned.
“Watch us?” Tarra glared.
“Yup. Sadly I can’t kill you, or master would lose Sin. Such boringness,” the girl sighed. She threw her hands up and twirled once.
“Are you going to help us battle Rurah?” Zina asked.
“Master said Alice cannot interfere with the two clans. Alice is ordered to watch not get involved,” the girl giggled.
“Tsk. What a bother. That guy watches everyone doesn’t he?” Tarra moaned.
“You’re really pretty,” Torra said. He was mesmerized by this doll like girl. His heart fluttered and skipped a beat whenever he looked at this strange girl.
Tarra nudged Torra on the shoulder but, it had no effect. He couldn’t take his eyes off this strange girl. Tarra felt sickened and lonely.
Alice giggled, “You guys are allot funnier than what I had imagined. At least Alice won’t be so bored when she’s watching you for master,” she said.
“Wait if you’re here…does that mean Sin already left with that man?” Zina gasped.
“Alice thinks Sareen went to retrieve her for master. Alice is not one hundred percent sure though,” Alice shrugged.
“I see,” Zina sighed and took a step back. Her heart fell in her chest. Placing her hand over her heart; soft tears trickled down her cheeks, “Don’t die on us sister,” she said.
Secret World [[Unknown Time]]
“Half way there. You excited” Sareen asked. She was looking through the small town windows of the shops glancing from the items that were displayed.
“Yeah, I guess,” Sin bowed her head. She had a disappointed and sad look on her face ever since she left her castle with Sareen; as if all her hopes and dreams of the future suddenly vanished into smoke that had no fire to begin with.
“You seem a little down under the weather,” Sareen looked over at Sin, “Look it’s one of the best café in the secret worlds. Let’s stop by and have a little something to fill our empty stomachs,” Sareen winked.
Sin’s stomach growled, she blushed following Sareen in the café.
The bell chimed signaling their entrance. There was barely any people in the café except for two elderly couple in the back, candle light laminated their faces. Sareen pointed at one of the empty two seat tables behind the front windows. Sin pulled out one of the chairs and sat in it. A small waitress came by the table. She was skinny, waist and all, she had short blonde hair, pale blue eyes, pale peach skin, her maid uniform was typically like any other; black and white, she was small; a cute shortness fit her Sin thought. Her lips went a bit heavy with some red lipstick, other than that she was drop dead gorgeous. The waitress placed a pencil and notepad in her hand and gurgled her voice a little. Sin assumed the waitress had a sore throat. Sin didn’t want to know how but, she just knew some things.
“What would you like to drink to start you of first?” the waitress asked. She had a rather deep and powerful woman voice for someone so small.
“Yes. We would like this café’s special coffee please and thank you,” Sareen answered smiling at the waitress.
The waitress wrote down the order in the notepad and walked away towards the kitchen.
“What is coffee?” Sin asked. She had never heard of this kind of drink before. Sin lived in Hell; she didn’t go out and about very often because, of her duties as the Queen of Hell.
“Ah, I suppose you don’t really know what this secret world is huh?” Sareen sighed.
“No, Sorry,” Sin saddened.
“This world it’s called Earth. This is where humans have lived and flourished for many years; adapting to their surroundings and, evolving over generations from the first human being to now,” Sareen looked out the window. The view was beautiful; shops designed the streets, people in different clothing walked up and down the sidewalks with people next to them bust talking to them or, on their strange devices Sareen liked to call them phones. Cars honked in the streets forcing people to step aside out of moving traffics way. People in dark blue suites with star badges patrolled, sliding little pieces of paper on car windshield wipers next to these little timer machines with the red slot viewed on them. This town was so peaceful unlike others. In some places her master has been through people were killing each other with guns and bombs and, a bunch of other kind of unknown weapons. This was Sareen’s favorite restaurant to eat at in the human world. The sweets were delicious, the drinks were warm and so welcoming, the flavors danced on your taste buds. The people were nice, nobody but the elderly usually ate here. The food was always fresh, crisp, and warm. Sareen’s favorite thing to get here was a cup of coffee and a cheesecake. One of the few things that could make a droid feel soothed and calm.
“Earth? Is that what Lucifer studied here?” Sin asked. The waitress came by and placed two cups of coffee on the table, she placed a small bottle of cream and a bowl of sugar down on the middle of the table; grabbing her notepad she asked them what the two wanted to eat.
“We will have the cheesecake that you make homemade here,” Sareen smiled.
The waitress scribbled it down on her notepad and left back into the kitchen.
“Oh wait. It was the humans that he studied wasn’t it. For what purpose did he study them? What kind of knowledge about them did he hope to gain by researching them?” Sin asked playing with the spoon and sugar.
“Before what he became today do you remember me telling you about his past when we connected in your dream?” Sareen asked; pouring some cream and a spoon full of sugar in her coffee, mixing it together in slow stirs. The swirl of foam warped itself in a circle where the spoon went.
“You mean the part about him being a slave to this awful king? Pity, I do remember it,” Sin choked on the first sip of coffee.
“He used to live in the human world as a human himself,” Sareen sipped her coffee. A warm fuzzy feeling fell over Sareen as the coffee went down her throat, soothing her from within.
“He used to be a human? But, that’s impossible! What is he now?” Sin blurted out. Everyone turned and looked at her; Sin sunk back into her chair halfway below the table to hide her embarrassment.
“He’s a Legendary Hell dragon like yourself now but, yes master Lucifer did used to be human like those people walking through the streets busy with their devices,” Sareen pointed to the people outside the window.
“I don’t understand. How could he have possibly been a human then transformed into a dragon? It makes absolutely no sense,” Sin whined. She did understand nothing at this moment, so lost in thought about a human becoming a dragon she only made herself more confused.
“Well; after master Lucifer became king he was placed with a curse,” Sareen said, placing the empty coffee cup on the end of the table.
“A curse?” Sin asked interested in the conversation. Sin knew she was going to have to be with this man for maybe the rest of her life but, it couldn’t hurt to learn about him could it?
“Yes. A curse. One of the villagers put it on him shortly after becoming king. To kill a king and replace him is the greatest sin of any to commit, thus shall live in pain and agony as hell itself, unless a true queen to you can set you free before the tenth full moon,” Sareen chanted with her eyes closed.
“Live in pain and agony as hell itself? Meaning a Legendary Hell dragon right?” Sin asked confidently.
“Yes, and a queen that will break his curse; is you. You will free him from his pain and agony by becoming his queen before the tenth full moon,” Sareen boasted. She hugged underneath her chest, she made her breast look bigger than how much bigger they actually were; Sin flushed.
“So, then why was I chosen to become his queen and not somebody else?” Sin’s cheeks were red.
“You have many qualities that he himself does. Maybe why he chose you is because, he knew you were the right person for him. You may have lived as a couple in a previous life,” Sareen shrugged.
The waitress came by with a tray in hand, placing cheesecake in front of each of them; then she handed them each a fork so they could eat, “I’ll leave your check right here. Do you need any more coffee?” she asked placing the piece of paper on the end of the table closer to Sareen.
“No thanks. I think we are all right now,” Sareen said taking the piece of paper and skimming over the total amount owned for their consumption.
“We owe this woman for serving us food?” Sin asked rather rudely.
“In the human world nothing is free,” Sareen laughed. She placed money on the piece of paper and placed it back on the edge of the table, placing a tip on the middle of the table.
“That’s not very fair. That seems like too much effort,” Sin sighed.
“But, look at how it has changed their way of living in society. They work to not only support themselves but, also for the things and people they love and care about. It creates them into beings for purpose in life. Without workers they couldn’t get so far in evolving and life. They wouldn’t look like this today if it weren’t for work,” Sareen smiled looking at the people outside through the window.
“Work has evolved these people into extraordinary beings then,” Sin smiled. She finished her cheesecake placing the fork on the empty plate; setting it aside for the waitress to clean up.
“Yes, do you find them interesting now?” Sareen asked, she had also finished her cheesecake as well.
“I suppose I do. Is that why your master found them so interesting?” Sin asked.
“It may be that but, I think why he studied them was because he was human once and longed to be a part of them once more,” Sareen closed her eyes.
“I don’t know what it’s like to be human. I have never been one before,” Sin sighed. She wondered if being a human was as interesting as it seemed. To have a job maybe a family. Something Sin longed to have but knew it was out of her reach to grasp.
“I was made by my master to understand living emotions so, I know how you feel. Nobody really can understand a different life form but their own. It’s no surprise that you wouldn’t understand humans. You haven’t ever seen them before in all your life. You may get their souls but, those are just souls surrounded by phantoms; not actual people,” Sareen smiled.
The waitress came back taking the money and the piece of paper. She nodded at them signaling they were free to leave. Sareen and Sin got up from their chairs and walked out of the café; leaving the door bell chiming after them.
White fluff filled the air; making it cold and chilled. Sin let a flake land on her hand, causing cold pain to sink into her hand; swiping her hand back and forth she shuttered from the cold.
“This is what the humans call snow. It’s cold and never comes in the same shape. It’s produced by the clouds above and only comes at certain times in a certain season,” Sareen said. She really was smart.
“It’s so cold,” Sin breathed. Her breathe came out like fog from her mouth. She giggled and tried to catch more snow. Spinning in circles. She was mesmerized by the snows beauty.
“Indeed fascinating isn’t it?” Sareen smiled.
“Yes, I have never seen such beauty before in my life,” Sin gleamed. A man came by bumping into her; knocking her on the ground. She felt a sting at her throat. Her jewel around her throat was gone.
“Oh dear. I wonder who he was. He could be someone who targets tourist,” Sareen said.
“That man!” Sin cried out.
“What?” Sareen asked.
“He stole my jewel. That’s where my extra power is stored,” Sin cried. She felt her emotions hot and rising but, her body was getting weak from losing stability.
“That jewel stabilizes your powers so, you don’t produce too much power and end up destroying yourself and everything around you,” Sareen said.
“How do you…?” Sin coughed. This wasn’t good. Her body temperature was getting hotter, and hotter. She didn’t know how much time she had left before she lost it.
“Like I said; I have researched everything about you, strengths, weaknesses, likes and, dislikes. Master won’t be pleased if I come back with you dead. We need to find that man and retrieve that jewel,” Sareen bit her lip.
Sin was coughing still, her lungs hurt her to breathe. She needed her jewel back before it got any worse. She slowly nodded and starting running in the direction the man went with Sareen close behind her.
