Meanwhile with Danny and Raven
Raven was sitting at her desk in her room. Her head was resting on her arms that lay across the desk. She silently wept in her arms. Never had she thought to herself had she made her older brother that upset before. It hurt her. It felt like she just got stabbed in the chest by a giant double bladed knife; killing her slowly but surely. The face her gave her before he walked out of the lab was like a blow to her head. When she came back into her room she threw a tantrum; breaking things, throwing things, even ripping up some of her research papers she held on to so dearly. She tried to desperately to get rid of the pain that holed up inside her now. She wondered if her brother hated her now. She may have forced the conversation out of him which, she decided that was the sole reason to blame herself. Her door burst open; a tired, and angry looking Danny walked in.
“D-Danny?” Raven tried to stop the tears by rubbing them away with her sleeves.
“What happened between you and Noel?” Danny asked; a little anger rose in his voice. Raven noticed he was trying too hard to control the anger in his voice. Though he couldn’t control it that well. He flushed turning his head to the side shaking it violently back and forth.
“Nothing really. Noel and I just got into a little fight is all,” Raven sniffed.
“What was the fight about?” Danny asked. The anger he was trying to control seemed to have disappeared. He seemed to be in a caring mood now.
“I asked him that story about the woman he saw get killed by that man and after that we both kind of lost it,” Raven said. She wiped away the remaining tears on her sleeve. Her eyes were blood shot from crying so much. It stung her a little bit.
“You didn’t know he was your brother until recently so, of course you wouldn’t be able to take a fight this small so simply,” Danny shrugged extending a hand to Raven.
Raven took his hand allowing him to pull her out of her chair. She was standing in from of him now. He kissed her forehead, “It’s okay really. My sisters and I fight all the time. Your brother is hot headed but he will come around sooner or later. You don’t need to worry too much about it. We can’t have our scientist down at a time like this,” Danny winked.
Raven stopped crying. The tears dried to her face. She let out a small smile.
“Do you feel better now?” Danny asked looking down at her.
“Yes I do. Thanks allot. I feel allot better. You have allot more siblings than I do so, you can relate to these problems better. Also cause you guys fight all the time,” Raven giggled.
“Yeah you got that right,” Danny flushed. His face was getting beat red.
“You’re funny when you get emotional like that. When you meet a nice girl she will like that character about you. I may be a scientist but, it doesn’t mean I don’t have human emotions,” Raven smiled.
“You think I’m going to meet someone special?” Danny asked; his eyes glowing a bright blue like the sea.
“I think you will find someone great Danny,” Raven twirled, “You may get angry and upset most of the time but, that’s only because you care too much about the people you care about most getting hurt. You’re just an overprotective guy,” she added skipping out of the room.
“That girl…” Danny breathed. His face was bright red; it seemed to illuminate him a bit.
Torra and Tarra’s room
“Torra!” Tarra called out.
A low sobbing noise came from the corner of their room.
“Torra. I know you’re in here. Please talk to me I’m your twin. I can help,” Tarra said.
“Go away,” Torra sobbed, “I’m just a dumb kid who lets people manipulate me,” he pouted.
“Torra man up. You know he was just aggravated by seeing Alice,” Tarra huffed.
“Why does he hate her so much?” Torra sobbed.
“She belongs to that man you know,” Tarra huffed and sat next down to her twin.
“But, what does belonging to that guy have to do with hating her?” Torra cried louder.
“Because, that man took his sister away from him,” Tarra said hugging Torra.
“So he thinks since Alice was made by that man that he should hate Alice for it?” Torra asked. A few tears still fell from his eyes.
“He did send Alice to kill all of Sin’s villagers in a little village within her domain and, Alice did follow the orders her master gave her so, maybe it looks like a good enough reason for Danny to hate her,” Tarra shrugged.
“Then why would he say those hateful things to me?” Torra asked. He stopped crying; his eyes could no longer produce the tears.
“I think he was just angry you stood up for her. I think he tried to deny it at first but didn’t know how to,” Tarra thought out loud.
“Are you really upset about something so small like that?” a voice called out.
It was Alice. She was standing in the front of the door watching them.
“How long have you been listening?” Tarra asked.
“Not long, about halfway maybe?” her eyes twinkled.
Torra’s heart skipped a beat, his face flushed red.
“Just to let you know even if you have feelings for me you should give them up now while there still fresh,” Alice said.
“What why?” Torra cried out.
“It’s useless to have those kinds of emotions. There just silly. They only lead down a road of pain,” Alice answered.
“That’s not much of a reason for me to give up! Why should I give up on you!?” Torra asked specifically.
“Because, I can’t ever love you back,” Alice said. A plain expression latched onto her face.
“You can’t?” Torra asked.
Tarra remained silent. She didn’t want to get involved any further.
“I was programmed without emotions. Unless I am broken like Lucy I won’t be able to feel any type of emotion,” Alice said. Her eyes gleaming.
“Not even pain?” Torra asked. A bit startled to being rejected so soon but he kept his balance.
“Not even,” Alice replied. She kept the same plain expression on her face the whole time. It never seemed to change; like it was programmed not to.
Tarra closed her eyes and got up. She grabbed Torra and dragged him to his feet. Dragging him out the door she never looked at Alice just kept moving forward down the hall.
“Tarra are you okay?” Torra asked. He was getting frightened from his sisters beginning wrath.
“Nothing is wrong. It just seemed like you wanted to escape from there,” Tarra drooped her head.
“Sister don’t worry about me. No matter what happens my feelings can’t be forgotten. It will make me stronger,” Torra smiled.
Tarra stopped and dropped Torra from her grasp. She flung herself at him and embraced him in a hug. Now she was the one crying. Torra didn’t seem to mind though. He was hugging her back saying gentle things in her ear trying to calm down his sister. Tarra sobbing wouldn’t let go of her twin.
