"Lois, Lois!" The dark was overwhelming and Eoren stumbled closer to the man walking away from her. Half his hand was falling brokenly by his side and he was limping. His whole body was covered in blood, and then he turned towards her, his eyes glowing, and he cawed.
Eoren screamed as he closed his eyes and a million ravens burst out from his chest.
She woke up from the nightmare, drenched in sweat, and she saw Gyles coming inside the room, his steps hurried. His eyes were worried, his eyes were always worried.
