Sophia's POV Nobody moved. The document sat in the middle of the table and everyone looked at it and the name on it and the room was so quiet I could hear the city outside doing its indifferent thing forty floors below. Diana Black. I looked at Lena. She was looking at the document with her hands flat on the table and her face doing something I had never seen on it before. Not the careful quality. Not the processing quiet. Something rawer than both of those. Something that had no management in it at all. "Lena," I said softly. She didn't look up. "Lena," Damien said. Quiet and steady. She looked up. Her eyes went to the document and then to Carter and then to the table and then to nowhere specific. "She ordered it," Lena said. Not a question. Just the words finding their shape.
