-Alyna-
I looked at Alan Tims, and God, he was engrossed in the art, like it was his world or something, and then something I hadn't expected happened. A girl joined him. She must be around eighteen or something, and the look they shared... oh, this was the look that could melt the frozen seas of semuris, the sea that connected Lumene with the Ethion.
"Ok," Irene whispered as the girl leaned closer to him and trailed a finger on the back of his hand. Her eyes were speaking languages I mostly didn't understand, but the man did. He gripped her hand and they both walked away, looking very urgent.
Irene and I shared a look, our eyes twinkling in mischief.
"Want to follow him?"
I nodded earnestly. "But he is a no, right?" I looked at Irene and she narrowed her eyes at me, leaning her head to the side as she studied me.
"Why? Why is he a no?"
Was she for real?
"I am not doing to that girl what someone had done to me, Irene. That is not fair for her," I explained to my best friend and she shrugged.
"You are always looking out for others, huh! What if they are just having a totally casual relationship? And it was all about s*x?" Irene shrugged. "He is the one who has given his name!"
Of course, she was right, and she made sense, but he had lost his appeal for me the moment the girl joined him. Yes, he was hot, but sometimes hotness wasn't the only criterion, not for me. The f*cking prince was hot as hell, and his heart was made of coals that kept hell burning.
"I don't care. So what if it was casual, but she already had feelings for him, and I took away her chance at ever changing his mind? I don't want the guilt or burden of that on me," I said sternly, shaking my head as we sneaked towards where the vampire and the girl had vanished. It was a small room, and the window was ajar. From where we stood, they were totally visible, and we, we were nowhere in their line of sight.
Feeling like pervert, but more curious than ever, I looked through the window. They were kissing hot and heavy. His hands were running all over her and she was making these weird little noises.
Irene giggled and then pressed her lips together, her body still shaking in laughter. I rolled my eyes and poked at her, mouthing shut up!
"Should we go?" Irene mumbled and I shook my head.
"Would he drink her blood?" I was burning in curiosity, and I knew how they said curiosity killed the cat, but what the hell...
I also remembered what Felix told me about drinking my delicious blood, and making me feel all the feelings. It was freaking confusing for me, when he said that he would like to teach me things... and I felt hot and bothered all over.
I was sure he did some kind of vampire mind control thing on me that day, but I wasn't sure.
"Oh," Irene mumbled and I shook my head, pulling myself out of the trance and looked through the window, like a little creep I was. My eyes were f*cking curious. If anyone had ever told me that one day I would be spending time sneaking a peak like a f*cking voyeur through the windows at a vampire, I would have called them crazy.
I think... no,I was sure that when Theoden rejected me, something in me was broken. Something that kept me sane and together. Now, here I was... f*cking being a peeping tom, and did I even feel shame? No. Absolutely no shame.
The Vampire opened her jacket button and her heavy breasts were so full and her bra couldn't hold them. He moaned, licking his lips, and I saw two fangs poking out of his lips. The girl panted as he cupped her breasts and squeezed it tighter in his palms, moaning as he did.
And then he gripped her throat, pushed her head back and his fangs sunk into her neck and she screamed. But no, it wasn't the scream of pain. It was one of pleasure.
He sucked her, and his eyes were blurry and hazy, as he continued to tease her ni*ples as he drank from her like she was a f*cking juice bottle and the girl's hands were now finding their way inside his dented pants. He groaned as she pulled his c*ck out of his pants and... I blinked and looked away.
"You sure you don't want him?" Irene's eyes were wide, her cheeks flushed, and I shook my head, my heart thundering in my ears.
Irene and I looked at each other and licked our lips in sync as another moan left the girl and we could hear the soft sound of flesh rubbing against flesh and loud grunts as the girl tried to make the vampire c*m, even as he drank blood.
"I think we should go," I whispered, my voice hoarse. I was so freaking aroused. I tightened my legs together and Irene took one last look at the scene through the window.
"Whoa!"
"You ladies are in so much trouble..." A soft voice whispered behind us and we both jumped away. My cheeks flushed in embarrassment. It was Felix. I didn't know how long he was there. His eyes crinkled at the sides as he looked through the windows and he gave me a shake of his head. "Naughty..."
"What are you doing here?" I whispered, as my wide eyes studied him. He had this look of utter amusement on his eyes.
"I came with my friend. And I saw you following him..."
"Alan Tims is your friend?" I asked Felix and he nodded his head.
"Now if you are done watching... should we leave?" he asked as he grabbed my wrist. "Also, why watch when you can actually experience it?" His eyes were twinkling and so so silver... like stars, like moon.
"I don't want to-" I pressed my lips together as I gave him a defiant look. For twenty years, I had been an innocent i***t who only had one man in her head and her heart, always pining for him, and now suddenly I had all these sexy handsome men coming on to me?!
The sexy included Nathan, too. I could see how my hate/feud with Nathan was shifting, too. It was making my head spin, all this weirdness going on in my life, but it had to be expected. Everything changed the moment I said that I would play the rejection games. Every f*cking thing changed!
"Oh, little pet, you are lying." Felix looked absolutely smug and I shook my head. "But don' worry, I will break you one day or the other. And then I will have the taste of that sweet blood of yours," he rubbed a hand against my pulse before he saluted me. "Alan is in your little dossier, isn't he? That is why you are here?"
"Yes," Irene nodded as she looked at the vampire. "He is one of the names on the big list."
"So what did you decide, little Alyna?" He eyed me up and down, his silver eyes magnificently intense. The way he called me little, it was so intimate and disturbingly hot.
"No." I said as we stopped in front of the exit. Felix ran his fingers through his silver hair, looking keen as he studied my face. I didn't know what he wanted to see.
"Why not?" he said finally, as his silver eyes met mine with intrigue.
"I don't want any complications. He and the girl are clearly together. And this game isn't that important that I spoil someone else's chance," I said with a shrug, and Felix leaned back, looking at me with an indulgent smile.
"Or it is just s*x," Felix said with a shrug. "We vampires are s****l creatures, Alyna. Very sexual."
"That is what I said..." Irene said. "And after seeing how good he was... it is-"
"Whatever. I am going to stick with my plan. He is a no."
"You have a good head on your shoulders. The prince made a mistake when he chose to reject you. You are special, I can see that."
I felt like my heart was filled with a million butterflies. No one had ever called me special, and yet this man called me special? The last time someone told me I was special was my mother. And after her death, everyone only ever told me how useless, how average I was.
"I thought he is your friend?" I blinked at him, trying to get back from what he had said to me. I instantly liked him. He might or might not be the kind of man I could fall for, but he would definitely be the kind of man I could respect.
"Of course, he is, but he is also an arse, and he is not as handsome as me," his eyes twinkled as he pointed the door to us. "Now, run along, ladies... Do not go on peeking at things you are not suppose to peek at."
I flushed and hurriedly walked out with Irene.
"Damn, the man is something else," Irene said when we finally reached the road. "Now, we will go and see about our scholar. It is ten and he usually spent his free time in the library."
***
We walked inside the massive library and my eyes were crossed over from the beauty and magnificence of the library. It was big. Massive. And there were just too many books. I loved books. I loved the smell of the books, the words that made worlds, the stories, the pictures that bloomed in my imagination as I read the stories.
"Do not go to your dream land just yet. I found our scholar." She said as she pointed to the man, who was faithfully flipping through a bulky book. His fingers were long and gentle as he carefully turned each page and I immediately liked him when I saw how carefully he handled the books.
Like they were fragile.
Like they meant something.
That was something I liked. I liked it when people were careful with books. It was my pet peeve when people manhandled books.
"I see stars blinking in your eyes, Alyna," Irene said. She knew me, of course.
"I think this will be a yes."
