When the healer opened the wooden door of the small but clean guest room where I would be staying, I paused at the door. Something about being separated from the others filled me with unease. I turned immediately to Conan who stood at my side.
“Can Raya stay with me here?” I asked with a shaky voice, though I could feel my heart beating faster.
