Councilman Darion rose and cleared his throat. “Let the Alpha Convergence commence.”
Discussions started off orderly enough. Council matters, border treaties,and upcoming land disputes. But things soon got complicated. Alphas bickered over past grudges and posturing turned into thinly veiled challenges. Everything wasn't that bad.
That is, till Councilman brought up the issue about the rogues.
His voice was deep and calm as he spoke. “The purpose of this convergence is not only to build alliances and settle disputes, but to prepare for the times ahead. As you all know, the balance between rogue packs and the territories is beginning to crack.”
That got everyone talking.
One Alpha stood. “Are we finally going to address the attacks happening across borders without warning?”
