On one of her business travels, Jenny met Michael Durant, and a spark of love is felt between the two young adults. Despite her family's disapproval of Michael, Jenny goes as far as giving up her wealth and family name just to marry Michael, who is completely in the dark about Jenny's wealth and true identity, which Jenny chooses to keep hidden in order not to intimate Michael.

MALE LEAD- Michael Durant is a struggling businessman who falls in love with the caring and loving Jenny Lambert. Although Michael is initially loving too, his family despises Jenny and through traps laid out for Jenny by his mother, Michael slowly comes to despise Jenny like the rest of his family. He finally sees an opportunity to kick Jenny out of his life and cease her money and he takes it.

Even though everything around her looks perfect and glamorous, Jenny feels a deep longing inside. She is not satisfied with just living in this glamorous world. Instead, she wants to find something genuine. She wishes for experiences and feelings that are beyond the carefully crafted image that her life presents to others.
