SUSAN PLAN TO GO REGISTERS FOR ANTENATAL CARE

It Is a good day for Susan, because Lucy, poured out her heart and reveal things to Susan that she seems to be ignorant of, which is the need of trusting God. When Lucy sees that Susan's mood has lighted up, revealing inner joy, she decides to change the topic of the discussion to Susan's baby.

Lucy says to Susan, "You are almost three months and you pass your first trimester. If I would advise you, I will suggest you go register for an antenatal, because this cannot be overemphasized."

Susan is so impressed, as both friends walk out of the relaxation and head back home. However, while they leave the park, it is also getting dark, but the fortunate thing is the fact that Lucy's house is only but a stone throw.

It is a brand new sunny morning, with birds chirping and sounds of moving vehicles increasingly coming from the road revealing people rising to the day's job. Lucy had woken up, while Susan is still sleeping, snoring like someone who is exhausted.

Lucy rushes to the bathroom to take a shower and prepare for work since she has to be in the office by 7:30 am, holding to the fact that her boss has a case to attend to by 9:00 am. She has to put together all the necessary files to enable her boss to attend to the case at hand. While Lucy is preparing, Susan wakes up not in her usual sluggish pregnancy mood, it seems as if, she wakes up on the bright side of the day, she appears happy, assumingly because of the conversation she had with Lucy.

While Lucy is now preparing by dressing up, Susan greets, "Lucy, good morning!" and Lucy, swiftly respond, "Hey! bae, good morning. How was your night?"

And Susan replies, "Very good", asking Lucy, " How was hers also?"

"My night was good. Sorry, I didn't want to bother to wake you because I realize you were exhausted and you need the rest."

Susan smiles, with a glowing face, saying, "I'm always exhausted, because of the pregnancy and all the weights I have been carrying in my heart, up, until yesterday after we talked. I feel a lot relieved, though, still sad because of my father. I can't believe my father has separated himself from me and does not want to have anything to do with me anymore."

Lucy interrupts, saying, "Don't worry, it will pass, everything will be fine, you and your dad will be reconciled, just believe."

"Susan, I need to go now, I am almost late for work and I have to prepare the case files for my boss who have a case to attend to by 9:00 am. I am sure you are prepared to go to the hospital and register to start your antenatal care, are you prepared?"

Susan responds, "Yes, I am. After I have had something to eat and have taken shower, I will be on my way. I think I would prepare to go to Queen's clinic since it is closer and since I already have a record with them, it will be perfect. What do you think?"

"Perfect! that is cool. I need to go now, I'm behind them", Lucy says, as she hurried out of the house.

After Lucy, had left the house, Susan takes her time and prepare by taking her bath and dress up. After Susan had dressed up, she prepare for herself some light breakfast, specifically, toasted bread and tea. Immediately, she finishes having her breakfast, she picks up her handbag and her phone starts ringing.

Susan picks up her phone and realizes it is Bob calling. She ignored the call and the phone rings and goes off.

After some seconds, Susan phone starts ringing again, however, this time, she mumbled before picking up the call, saying, " Why is this Bob of a beast calling and disturbing my peace?", as she now thought in her heart, well, Lucy has cautioned me to take things easy with him. Therefore, I will just pick his call to see what he has to say since I need him at this time the most for the sake of my baby.

Immediately, Susan had said this to herself, she picks up Bob's can and says, "Why are you bothering me with your calls? What is it that you need from me this time? Have you not caused me enough damaged? Bob, please, you need to let me be. I lost my precious mum because of you. Because of you, my dad disowned me. Therefore, I don't have anyone in my life anymore apart from my beloved friend, Lucy."

While Susan is still talking, Bob interrupted, "Please, it is not alright do just lambast me when you have not even answered my greetings. You picked my call, all I could hear from you are blame upon blame, this is not fair, even if I have done you wrong. Susan, I greeted you, did you even hear that? However, you did not hear me because your heart is filled with rage for me. Please, I didn't call you to make trouble. I called to know how you are fairing, for the reason that I have been worried about you and my conscience would not let me be. Another thing, lest I forget. I heard you said, " You lose your mum? This is very heartbroken. I could feel your pain. Nevertheless, I feel much more guilty, hearing of your mum's death. Accept my sympathy and take heart. At this point, u will take full responsibility for whatever blame you level on me, even when I may not know how I am the cause of some of the things you have mentioned. Moreover, I also heard you say, "Your dad disown you because of me. Hmmm! Susan, my sins are too great. I do understand what you mean as a man. I am sorry, and I take responsibility for that also. Finally, if you think you do not have anyone apart from your friend Lucy, then, you lie, Susan. You have me, except you have deliberately chosen to rid me of your mind. Forgive me and allow me a room in your heart, I plea."

Susan is touched by Bob's long response but deliberately decides not to express emotions because she thinks Bob will see that as a weakness and capitalize on it. Therefore, Susan tries to act strictly by being resistant in her response toward Bob.

"Alright! Bob, I am sorry. I did not intend to sound the way I am sounding right now. However, a lot is running through my mind and I have noticed that I easily get angry these days. As I say, I have been so overwhelmed. Now, tell me, why did you call me?", says Susan.

" I call to check up on you and find out if you would need my assistant in any way.", Bob respond.

"Well!" Susan says, "I am fine for now courtesy of my friend Lucy who spoke with me when I was very broken. I didn't tell you that I travel to see my parent. I went to tell them that I am pregnant. I came back from the travel yesterday. When I broke the news of my pregnancy to my mum, she experienced a terrible shock that led to cardiac arrest. To worsen matters, when my dad heard the news, he was mad at me, which made him disown me. When my mum heard him say to me, " I disown you", she slump because she could not take it. This was what led to her condition that dragged her into a coma. In the process, my mum died in the hospital. I am very pained because of how my condition made my dad disconnects himself from me and did not want to set his eyes on me. You won't believe, Bob, I couldn't attend to my mum's for the fear of my dad, who threatened to kill me if I come close to my mum's corpse.

"Susan, I am very sorry, for all that has happened to you because of me as a result of being pregnant for me. I know I can't deny it. Where are you right now?", Bob says?

Susan answers, " I am in my friend's house, but I am right kos going to the clinic to register and start my antenatal care."

"Wow! that is very good, but I think you are taking this too far. It seems as if you have not considered my opinion of getting rid of this baby. If the many are mine and I do not want it, won't you do what I wanted?"

"Never! I will not do want you to want, because what you want is evil. You are very selfish Bob. How can you think it is right to terminate an innocent baby? if you do not want this baby, I do and I will not terminate it. I rather die, than do what you want me to do. You can go to hell. I need to go now. if you don't have any important things to say, end the call or I will help you do so. I am late for my appointment.", says Susan.

" Hmmm! it is ok, if you want to keep the baby, I will play my part by being responsible do any way possible. So, which clinic are you going to?", says Bob.

."Queen's Clinic", Susan says in response and the call ends.
