JACK RETURNS

After some time, Lucy's boyfriend Jack, comes back from taking a walk to meet the two ladies still talking. Immediately, Susan sees Jack, she decides to change the subject of the discussion, saying, "We are very sorry. Do not mind us with our women talk. It is our nature, we talk to each other.

I hope you had a good time out there? Where did you even go to?"

"I did not go anywhere far away from this vicinity. I just took a long walk.", says Jack, " I had a nice time."

"Thanks, sweetheart. Thanks for your understanding. Please, you have to forgive us for taking too much time discussing", says Lucy.

"There will be a comedy show by the weekend, hope you and Susan would not mind if we could all attend it!", says Bob and Lucy answers, "Yea, Susan will join us".

Jack asks Susan to invite Bob.

"I think Bob might need you as much as you need him even more. I think, he would also need some time off. Let me give you a little advice as a man, Jack says, "I know that Bob loves you indeed, but, the situation may have dragged you into thinking that he does not. Well, first thing first, you have to find a place in your heart to forgive him. You may not have a single idea of what he is going through in his life right now, or what made him close to you to the point of having carnal knowledge with you."

Susan interrupts and says to Jack, "I do not have anything against Bob. All I ask is for him to love my baby as much as he claims to love me. My baby means a lot to me but means little to him because he already has his children from a legitimate marriage, which I knew nothing about until I found out. I felt deceived by him, at least, no matter what he is going through, he wouldn't have hidden such a secret from me, however, I found out."

Lucy asks Susan to calm down and listen to Jack and tells them to put her anger and rage against Bob aside.

Lucy, start talking about what Bob told her. She says, "Bob told her that his wife is not giving him peace and that is one of the reasons he is coming to Susan and ended up getting emotionally attached to the point of having carnal knowledge with her."

Jack says, " Bob needs a woman who will complete him. Moreover, I think as the man that I am, what Bob did was out of frustration, which led him to become obsessed of you Susan. Susan, please give Bob another chance, I beg to take my leave now."

Lucy sees Jack off as Jack bids Susan goodbye.

Jack tells Lucy to keep asking Susan to forgive Bob and to give him another chance that it will help him to be a better person. He also says, "Try to tell Susan, if Bob walks out of her life, she will end up regretting her decision not to fix things."

Susan feels miserable after because all counsels tend toward suggesting that she should forgive Bob and accept him, but the irony is, Bob is a married man. Therefore, she is troubled with the thought of how to force herself to love a married man for the sake that she is pregnant for him. She finally decides to forgive Bob. Nevertheless, she cannot forgive without loving and submitting herself to Bob.

Lucy after returning from walking Jack stays a little while with Susan. It is getting late, and due to the insecurity challenge, Lucy decided to also leave to beat the curfew time, which starts at 7:00 pm.

The voice of what Susan spoke to Jack came back reechoing in her mind.

"Truly, Jack, I do not have anything against Bob", All I want is for him to love my baby as much as he claims he loves me. My baby means a lot to me, but means little to him because he already has children."

Susan exclaimed as if Jack is still there present, "You don't get?"

And Susan hears the reechoed voice of her friend Lucy, saying, "Susan calm down and listen to what my boyfriend is telling you. Put your anger and rage against Bob aside and take time to listen to Jack who would talk to you like a man, just like Bob."

Moreover, Susan continues to hear

Jack, telling her, "Bob's wife is not giving him peace and that is one of the reasons he is coming to you, Susan. Bob needs a woman who will complete him and I think, you are that woman. Susan, please, give Bob another chance, I beg to take my leave now."

Everything was coming to Susan like a replay in her mind and she couldn't understand why.

Susan feels she deserves more than what she has gotten. Nevertheless, fate has a path designed already, so she has to go through this fateful path.

Susan goes straight to the television and turns it on, while she watches to take her mind off the recurring thoughts. She didn't even know when she slept off with the television on and the volume loud. She slept off because she was very exhausted.

A few hours later, Bob comes around to Susan's house with some groceries to give to her. When he parks his car, he steps out and walks straight to the door, knocks and there is no response. However, he hears the sound of the television. After knocking for few seconds without any response, he decides to make use of his spare key.

Bob enters the house and discovers Susan sleeping, while the television is on with the volume very loud. Bob goes straight to turn off the television and motions toward Susan who is fast asleep. He carries her into the room and lay her on the bed, covering her with a thick duvet.
