SUSAN TELLS LUCY HER SECOND GOOD NEWS
Susan starts telling Lucy the second good news, which has to do with her encounter with Mrs Bella. Susan says to Lucy, "I met a very good woman in the course of my antenatal classes. I was very overwhelmed and engrossed in thoughts, which made me absent-minded. Instead of participating in the antenatal lecture, my attention was not on what the senior nurse was teaching. I didn't know a woman who was also attending the class lecture had noticed my absent-mindedness." Lucy listens to Susan with much keenness, as Susan talks, "It was my absent-mindedness that attracted her. This woman picked interest in me. How did I know? I received a pat on my back, while my mind was out of the environment of the antenatal class, despite my body being there present. When I woke up from my wondering though
