A sound of dry leaves envelops the area as the company of king’s knights trailed the area. The soft breeze of the crisp air touched them and the moon’s light help them see their steps. No one was talking and everyone was following to their leader. Once they had reached their destination, the commander turned around to look at them. “We have arrived. This is where we are going to train to train your eyesight, test their gut feeling, and the ability to fight in the dark. “I will group you into three groups. Twenty knights of each. You could be able to at least retrieve or make some weapons that are available here in the forest. I will give you an ample time for that. Next is, you all have this ribbon tied somewhere on you.” the captain raised the ribbons started distributing each. “Twenty of you are yellow, twenty of you are green, and lastly, twenty of you are blue. You have to get their ribbon from them. To those who had the most ribbon would be assigned as my assistant, the company’s leader if I am not around.” Everyone made a sound and they felt motivated from what they heard. Being a commander’s assistant would be a great thing for their career. They could get a promotion of that. This was just a lifetime opportunity so they need to do their best. “Ready? You have 10 seconds to look for a weapon and I do not want to hear a complain from all of you,” the captain said. He only gave them a short period of time to look for a weapon because if another plot would be done to the kinh, they would be able to use resourceful things as weapons. The captain blew his whistle and everyone started to run immediately and tried to look for weapons. They could not waste their red. They were running in different directions. The forest was big but it was enough for everyone to roam around. Liriel moved and went to the right. He went by the saying that you should always do right in order to exit a maze and this forest was like a maze because they did not know every inches of this forest since this was the first time they were able to come up. Their captain said that they ‘could’ but not ‘should’ which means he did not really need a weapon. Everyone was furioused. Liriel immediately went to very corner of the forest.. He did not bothe to ok for a weapon if all he needed to do was to gather the ribbon from the other kn0ights. He looked at his and it was red. The captain said gather ribbons as much as they could but he never specify that those who would have the same color would be working as a team but as a knight, they should be able to determine their comrades during a battle no matter how dark was it. There were also 40 of other colors. It would be enough for him but he needed to be vigilant always, the other knights already has od enough amd expert enough as a knight. He climbed up the tree to view everything from the forest. He saw some of the knights running around the forest. After a few seconds, he heard the whistle from a distance. It was from their captain. The ribbon war has begun. The captain said to return with many ribbons as they could be he did not mention that the knights should protect theirs. Even if the other’s would grab his then he should not worry and just grab other ribbons. Liriel jumped off from the tree and went to the side of the forest where everyone gathered. He did not need to fight them. That was why analyzing things were very important. Since the commander was a knight, he would surely make sure to train our intellectual aspect, as well he could not just focus on physical aspect because being wise could get you through anything than having good strength. He looked at all of their tag and to his luck, they were all wearing green. He just could not find were the other’s had others. He counted the head present on the group. There should be 20 of them or less since some of them would want to be alone bit for sure they were hardest to take down. Those who isially to prefer to work alone were strong and independent. He counted the number of heads again. Twenty….twenty one. They excess in one member which mean someone had breached inside their group. They were not able to notice it which was a very bad quality as a knight. Having a dump group of knights could just easily take down the king. Liriel scoff. It looked like he would not be able to have a hard time executing his revenge. Liriel observed everyone of them and he could saw how they betray each other while talking plans on how to take down the other team. Some knights were already grabbing their teammates ribbon. Everyone wanted to be the commander’s assistant but what Liriel noticed was this one person. It was Reasee. He looked like he was listening to what the other members were saying and even suggested some opinions but with his quick hands really worked like magic. He was able to attain such ability because the food in the orphanage were only portioned into one serving and with his developing body, a portion was not enough. That was why he secretly grabbed food from everyone near him or even in the kitchen. Liriel counted how many has greem ribbon has Reasee obtained. It was already more than ten. Liriel could not helped but laughed lightly. He also saw the red ribbon hidden on his pocket. So he was the impostor. That was why they exceeded in number. Reasee fooled them all. Liriel stepped back and went to another direction where the red and yellow group were dominant. He walked towards them. He was very open and any minute, a knight could try to steal his ribbon from him. Liriel smiled. He hoped that his plan would work.
