Movie Night

893 Words
September 24th 2:00pm "You need to give it up, I've had about enough. It's not hard to see. The boy is mine", Terri and I sing through a microphone. The group arrived at my house two hours ago. Unfortunately, Don't Worry Darling was not on my television yet so we watched a horrible movie that Tharwah recommended. Malikah couldn't make it to the party because she had a family situation going on. I really hope she's okay. I feel bad for having the party but she insisted that we continue without her. Exams was really good this term. I didn't stress or freak out at all. I'm proud of myself. I'm sure that I did really well this term. 6:30pm "Play 5 Seconds Of Summer's new album, play 5SOS5", Terri says. "Bloodhound is my favourite", I say. I play Caramel through the speaker in my kitchen. "This one is my favourite", Terri says. I grab snacks out of the cupboard and pour them into bowls and put them on the table. "Nishaat can we play pool?", Tharwah asks. I walk to the living room and ask my mom if we can open the pool table. She agrees and my friends help me lift the cover of the pool table. "Whose playing first?", I ask. "We can play teams. Me and Nishaat on a team. Santino and Melanie on a team", Tharwah says. We all agree and the game begins. We play for about fifteen minutes and I shoot the 8 ball in and Tharwah and I win the game. "Nishaat you can really play", Kauthar says. "We won!", Tharwah shouts clapping her hands. I put the stick down on the table and walk towards where Terri and Mckayla are sitting. They have been singing through that microphone since they've got here, how is there throats not sore yet. "I can't play pool", Kauthar shrugs. "Do you want me to teach you?", I ask her. She nods her head and I get to the basics. I teach her all the basic rules about pool. "Stand slightly to the left, Kauthar", I say. She moves a few inches and shoots the white ball, knocking it against number 12. The stripped ball lands into a pocket. "There you go. Now you can play pool", I say high fiveing her. "Nishaat you're really good at this", Tharwah says. "I've been playing since I was five years old", I tell her. Now that I realise it. I have been playing this game for ten years. Time really does fly. 7:30pm Melanie, Tharwah and Santino are still playing pool in the kitchen. I walk to the lounge where Kauthar, Terri and Mckayla are. Terri and Mckayla are standing in front of the TV dancing to 5 Seconds Of Summer. "Thin white lies. Killing me slow with the words you wrote", Terri sings. "I love this song", I say standing next to them. Kauthar is sitting on the couch looking at her phone. "Nishaat, Nishaat! Look what Malikah sent you", Kauthar stands up from the couch and runs towards me. She shows me a video on her phone. It starts playing and it's a video of him. WHAT THE f**k! "Oh my God!", I scream. I land on my grandmother's bed, face first. I scream in one of her pillows. "Okay, I know I said that his not good looking but damn", Terri says. I get up from the bed and fix my hair. Oh my gosh Malikah, I love you. "Play the video again", I say to Kauthar tapping her on the arm. She plays the video again and I can feel my heart beat faster. My whole body is full of excitement right now. "My brain just melted", I say jumping up and down. "That just made my day. My day has been made. That was everything. Oh my god", I ramble. "So we didn't make your day, okay Nishaat", Terri says sarcastically. "You guys definitely made my day but that, that was the icing on the cake", I say sipping from my water that I left on the table earlier. 11:00pm Everyone has left already. I'm laying in my bed. I can feel a wave of loneliness pull over me. I think I just partied a little to hard today, that's why I'm feeling this way. "Your okay. You just need to relax", I whisper to myself. I close my eyes and let my thoughts flow through me. I'm here for you darling, always. Of course you are. How did you even get in my head? You let me in. Why? You see something in me that nobody else sees. And what is that? That's for you to find out. Don't worry you have time. I'll be waiting. How much time? And where are we? We are at a park, in your brain. This is all your imagination. Am I dead? No, but you are dying to get to know me. You know, you're whole body screams trouble. Yeah, but you like that. Don't you? Why won't you talk to me. I'm talking to you now. I mean in person. Not as an illusion, or whatever you are. I have to many obstacles in my way. Will you ever talk me? I'm not sure. But right now you need to wake up, wake up- "Wake up". xxx
