Some native women were selling fresh cherries and we brought them and it was quite tasty and fresh. Due to covid – 19 pandemics, almost hotels were closed or not allowed visitors but after a long effort, we managed and convinced a person who was the owner of a guest house and finally we had a place to stay. We settled in our room around 7:00 pm and got freshen up one by one because we had only one bathroom. As the evening was on and it got dark very soon because in hill station the sun disappears early and we decided to visit the nearest market and have food also. We got ready and step out from our guest house and visit the nearest market which was very less crowded and automatically followed the rule of “social distancing” and everyone wore a mask. We took some photos and selfies to “showoff” and then went to a restaurant and had dinner. We all three wandering on the streets and absorbed the surrounding and suddenly I saw a lady selling warm shawls and I liked one and after a good negotiation, she convinced to sell it on my budget.
While wondering on streets we noticed a Zoo naming “Manali Reserved forest” but it looked like a park with beautiful trees and plants, Playing space for children’s and also a way towards the river. Firstly, we all were tired but don’t want to go back to the hotel, I asked a person and we came to know that it was a Park as well as safe also. We entered in the park and followed the way towards the river and when we reached, we saw few peoples -hanging out couples, friends etc. they were enjoyed the night over there with lots of fun and my both the cousins started took selfies and I was sat on a big stone and watched the dark blue sky with sparkling stars and it was like a natural scene along with a river and greenery. There was also a small stall for some refreshments and we brought some chips and Pepsi from there and talked about tomorrow plans and some chit-chat. We had not much knowledge about the Manali and the places to visit in one day. One person came towards me and sat behind my back, hi! He said….
Me: Hello
Stranger: I am Nishant Rathi from Rajasthan and a photographer by profession, What about you.
Me: oh! Great and I am Aditya from Delhi and they both are my cousins – Mohit and Shubham.
Then Nishant make us comfortable with him and we were talked with each other and he showed some of pics he took and we had to say that he was a brilliant photographer, through his pics we could saw a different beauty of nature and he also clicked some pics of the current scenery which was simply amazing. As the conversation goes on we came to know that he lived in Manali from last 3 days and had good knowledge about the highlights of the town and we decided to visit “ Solang valley, Hadimba Temple and Rohtang “, Manali has so many beautiful places to visit but we had only one day that’s why Nishant suggested us these three places to explore and we agreed.
