Jax entered his office with a faint smile and a steaming coffee in his hands.
The weekend had been somewhat tedious, especially after Em's call, but ... finally ... it was Monday.

“Boss... I bring you the report you had asked me to check” - Cole muttered as he finished approaching the desk, leaving the document on the table, next to the coffee glass

Jax nodded and, with a serious expression on his face, took the report in his hands.
“Very well ...” - he commented while looking up over the document
“by the way, I need you to give me the proposal for the new client ... the meeting is today"
Cole frowned but said nothing.
He just nodded as he bit his lower lip lightly.
“I'll have it sent to you before the end of the day. I ..."
However, Jax raised a hand, causing the young man to shut up.
“No, I need it for lunch” - the young man ordered as he picked up the phone and dialed the number that would put him in contact with his secretary
“The client phoned us early in the morning to inform us that he could only see us during lunchtime ".

“Dolly, order a bouquet and bring it to the office in an hour” - told Jax to his secretary with a determined voice

Cole could not believe what he was hearing.
