My Boyfriend from another World

Chapter 4

"My name is Zaul,” he seriously said. “Zaul?” Chanel wondering. She found him so mysterious. “What happened to you, where you came from?" she constantly asked. Then he recounted what had happened to him, and he told her.

FLASHBACK

When Marionette was sent away from him, he swam in the sea without direction. And suddenly, a huge sharks chased him until he landed near the bay. The sharks was sent by Marionette's father. She was forbidden to fall in love in other creature. Zaul fought with the sharks and he killed it but after he killed it, a giant octopus was released and tried to capture him. Although Zaul had magic, but he could not use it under the water, except for breathing under it.

Zaul fought with the octopus until he stabbed one of its tentacles. But the octopus strangled him, he stabbed him again until the octopus thrown him and his head was slammed in the rock near the shore.

Flashback end…

“That what happened to me,” Zaul said.

Chanel can’t believe for what she heard.

“Are you fooling me? A mermaid? A giant octopus?” She nodded in disbelief.

“Don’t you believe me?” Zaul asked in wondered.

“Who do you think will believe you? What you said was impossible,” she nodded.

Zaul suddenly think and said.

“Oh! I knew it, because we have a different world, I can’t blame you because you didn’t know nothing in my world,” he said. "What do you mean?" she asked curiously. “My father has told me about the universe, and he forbids me to come here, and I never thought I would get in here," he smiled and stood up that like nothing happened to him.

Zaul grabbed his forehead and removed the plaster that covered in his wound. "Don't take it off!" Chanel exclaimed. And she was pleasantly surprised to find that Zaul’s wound was gone.  “H-how did that happen?" Chanel wonders. "I feel good, thank you, otherwise I would not be able to heal myself," he said. Chanel remain on her seats and feels like she's just dreaming.

"Are these true, who is this man?" Chanel wonders to herself. Later, Zaul tapped her on the shoulder. "What are you thinking?" Zaul said as their faces went closer, looking at his gentle face. She couldn't believe she was facing this kind of man, he has a unique charm. "Oh, I'm dreaming, what's going on?" Chanel said and touched Zaul's handsome face and gazed at him. "Are you real?!" Chanel uttered and she squeezed Zaul's arms and chest. "My gosh, is like being carved by an expert sculptor!" Chanel’s jaw was dropping while she is watching him. Chanel grabbed Zaul's hand and she finds it so soft and beautiful and the wounds was gone.

"How did this happen?" Chanel wondered. "I told you right?" Zaul laughed a little and stood up. "That's it! So I'm just dreaming, this isn’t real?" Chanel was in a state of shock and she thought that was really dreaming. Zaul walked around looking at the environment, he saw passing cars, and walked toward the gutter. "Hey, where are you going?" Chanel stood up. Zaul stopped on the sidewalk and looked around, he saw tall buildings.

"I never thought I would come here, I thought it was just a myth, it's was true after all!" Zaul sighed in disbelief. Chanel couldn't understand what Zaul had said. "Huh? Then what are you, where is your world?" Chanel curiously asked. "I am an Abacus from the kingdom of Gondeur." He replied. "Abacus? ..... Ancient calculator?" Chanel exclaimed.

"What?" He nodded.

“N-No, maybe they’re just the same name,” Chanel said but still in shocked.  "I want to learn in this world, can you come with me and teach me?" he smiled  "But how can I teach you? I'm just an ordinary person," she said. "Hmn?" Zaul paused calmly. "What are you planning to do, where are you going?" Chanel asked. "I will come with you!" he said then he faced her.

"What? ........ (She thought of his aunt Martha and cousins) Oh no!" she exclaimed.

 "Why, is that okay?" he asked. "I don't know if I can help you, I don’t have my own home here, I just living with my aunt, and the life here was so hard, like you, you can't live here without a job, and you have to study," Chanel explained. "I do not understand you,” Zaul retorted.

"What a hard time to explain,” she sighed then she continue. “B-because without a job you have no money, you can't buy food!" she explained. "Money? What money?" he innocently asked. "My gosh! So difficult to explain, worse than the child, how can I explain this out!" Chanel said in her heart then she continues. "Money is used to buy things you want," Chanel said. "Where can I get it?" he asked curiously.  "So you got to work,” she sighed. "Oh that's it!"

 "Yeah, do you understand what I’m saying?”

“A bit,”

“And not only that, you have to make sense and live by yourself, because you look like you're alone here!" she gasped. “It’s not a problem,” Zaul grinned.

“So, where are you going to sleep?" she asked.

 "Can you be with me?" He smiled. "No, I can’t!”  Chanel said.

“But why?”

“Because you're a man and I am a woman, we can't be together on the same roof, and my aunt will get angry if I will bring you in her house, you need a place to stay, it's dangerous here, and you might not have to endure the hardships of life here,” she explained.

 "Why is it hard?"

 "Oh! How can you understand me, just go back to where you were ok?" Chanel advised him.

Then Zaul sat at the gutter then suddenly a stray cat approached him, and he looked at it and he played with it.

Zaul brought the cat up and played with it softly. "Meoww," Said the cat as he rubbed his face on Zaul's cheek. "What kind of animal is this?" Zaul asked as he gazed at the cat's face. "That's called a stray cat,”

“Hmm, there no such like this tiny animals in our land,” he said.

  Chanel was looking at him and she was like dreaming while watching him.

Suddenly Zaul put down the cat and he saw a flying object through the sky. "What's flying?" Zaul asked innocently as he pointed to the object flying in the sky. "That's called the Airplane," Chanel said. "Is that animal?"

 "No, the plane was invented by man,"

 "Really?" Zaul says wonderfully. "In my world we have an animal with big wings and can ride behind it, it brings me to where I want to go, is it possible to ride it in the back, too?" said Zaul as he gazed at the flying plane. Chanel laughed. "Haha, no, you can't ride that in the back."

"Why not?"

"Because it's so big, like a big house!”

“I really want to learn in this world! I am very interested!” He said,

"I want to help you but I don't know how? It's dangerous here, especially like you, who don't know anything about universe,”

“Don’t worry, nothing will happen to me, the most important is I’m with you,” he smiled.

Chanel felt swooned for what he said. Then suddenly her cellphone rings. Her aunt Martha called, she answered it. "Your manager called me, and told me that you was fired, where are you now?”

“I was here at the bay, breathing some fresh air aunt,” she said.

“Go home now, and buy a medicine for Mikaela, she has a fever!” Aunt Martha declared.

Chanel doesn’t have to do just to follow her aunt, he looked at Zaul, she don’t want to go but she couldn't do anything

"I want to know more about you Zaul, but I can't stay here anymore. My aunt Martha is looking for me, unfortunately but I have to leave,” Chanel said sadly.

"Don't leave me, join me tour around your world,"

"But it's not that easy Zaul, even me, I haven't toured the world yet, I’m leaving Zaul, but will I see you again?” She asked as she looked at his eyes.
