That bastard had to go and kiss her. I'm not mad though for once he stopped worrying other people worrying about him and started thinking about what SHE needed in that exact moment and though it was risky I think it’s what she needed. And that’s all that mattered. I’m not sure of the details of their past but I don’t need to know this feels right, she will need both of us to get her back to “normal” whatever that is I just hope once we get rid of Leo she stays.

“How about a snack?” I ask

“Sure ?” She says but it comes out like a question probably just being polite and possibly not wanting to eat anything I know it’s late but I know I don’t want her to go just yet

“I have ice cream, want to make a sundae?” I smile and raise my eyebrows, which she returns with her smile

“Mmm that sounds good” She hops off the Barstool to come into the kitchen to help me gather supplies Aiden follows and he comes to my side grabbing the bowls I just pulled from the cabinet me

“The ice creams in the bottom, and there should be topping in the fridge door I’m not sure what you’d like” I grab spoons as she pulls open the bottom drawer that holds all the frozen items

“Wow! That’s a lot of ice cream” as she looks at the different cartons of many different flavors looking back up at me

“It’s a weakness” I shrugged

“Damn man, That’s like an ice cream shop in there where’s the other food like meat or a frozen pizza,” Aiden says

“Ehhh I don't need that, any meat I get, I get to cook right away this was a better use. Ice creams are my guilty pleasure”

“I love it !” Teagan exclaimed “So what flavors do I get” She looked at me and then at Aiden.

“Just vanilla for me,” Aiden says

“You're boring man” I joke “Here take these to the table I’ll make us some,” I say opening the fridge to get out some toppings and a can of whipped cream. She takes the items and walks over to the small 3-person table I have and I motion for her to sit. I walk back to get a plate. Followed by grabbing 3 of the large cookies at had made the night before for this same ice cream sundae. And taking them to the microwave to warm up. Once it dings and grabs them any turn see them both watching intently. Aiden with his brows scrunched like he’s never seen this done before and Teagan with a smile watching what I’ll grab next, which is some cookie dough bites from the fridge. I sit and pass the plate for each of them to take a cookie, and placing it in the bowl, I scoop some vanilla ice cream into Teagan’s bowl on top of her hot cookie and do the same with Aiden’s then mine,

“I like fudge on top,” I say drizzling some on mine and offering some to Teagan who nods excitedly. I then move to Aiden’s and shrug his shoulders “Sure”

“Now it’s up to you cookie crumble or cookie dough?” I ask her

“Mmmm I don’t know” She taps the chin with a small finger making the tough decision

“You can do both?” I say

“That’s a lot!” Aiden says

“I’d go with cookie dough” As I take a couple and place them on top of mine she does the same and so does Aiden. Next, I grab pecans and sprinkle some top and they both follow, next I top with whipped cream and go ahead and top each of there’s with some

“Open,” I say offering her some from the can it’s a silly gesture but she smiles willingly opening so I can spray some in and she licks her lips after closing and swallowing, now I realize that probably was a bad idea as her doing that instantly made my d**k twitch and the look in Aiden’s eye watching her says it probably had the same effect on him, she smiles taking the can.

“Your turn” holding it up for me smiling I smile back at her opening, she presses down on the tube and it sprays out

“Now you Aiden,” she says standing to be able to reach him he shakes his head but opens and she sprays some in his, I add cherries to each of ours

“Perfect,” I say, and she. Looks at the bowls we’ve made

“Looks delicious!” She says grabbing the spoons placing one in hers and with each hand offering us one

“Better than just plain vanilla” I look at Aiden

“Sorry I’m not an ice cream connoisseur,” he says which makes Teagan giggle, as she takes her first bite it’s a heaping spoon making sure she got some of everything including some warm cookie “Mmmm” she moans “It’s so good” we both take our spoon full following her and eating in peaceful silence, it’s not awkward or weird just enjoying the food and each other, about halfway I stand

“Come on,” I gesture for them to follow I open the sliding door that leads to the back and out onto my porch I have an outdoor lounge area with a fireplace in the middle, the pergola allows us to still see the beautiful Texas sky, it doesn’t take long for the fireplace to heat the area not that it’s extremely cold Texas doesn’t have harsh winters but it’s crisp and chilly, conversations between the three of us flow easily. we talk about me and where I’m from, We talk about Aiden and a learn a few things, where he graduated from how exactly he hurt himself in football didn’t realize he was good enough to go pro. Teagan changed the subject on anything about her asking her own questions which we would answer knowing she just wasn’t comfortable talking about herself, I didn’t exactly talk about my surgery at the end of the week and I’m glad before long it’s almost 5 am.

“There’s 2 guest rooms, the house is small but it’s 3 bedrooms if y’all want to stay sleep a bit before going home” Aiden looks at Teagan and she looks at him before looking at me.

“Yeah, I’m pretty tired now that you mentioned sleep” The hardest part is getting up we’ve fallen into comfortable positions laying against each other with her in the middle. I want to grab her hand and bring her to my bed. But decide against it. There will be time I’ll have her in my bed soon.
