Lycena’s voice whispers into my ear, her fingers gliding over my shoulder before I smack them away, not bothering that the act could draw attention to us.
I f*****g hate how she’s been getting on my nerves recently, but she is like a thorn I can't easily get rid of my skin.
She winks at me before she brushes my shoulder again, walking past me into the council chamber for the meeting I scheduled today with the pack elders. She settles on her seat near mine, and I breathe out a frustrated sigh before moving over and settling down beside her.
