“Woah! Merina, that was way too cold.”, a disgruntled Jen declared, puffing her shoulders out in annoyance.
“I know, I feel terrible too but I wanted to get the message across to him”
“So, you don’t feel anything for him? Nothing at all?”, She asked me again batting her eyelids at me.
I sighed. I can’t even answer that question myself. It was way too complicated. The past couple of weeks had changed my attitude toward Justin as I gradually realized that he wasn’t that ice cold, asshole I knew from my childhood anymore.
Jen eyed me suspiciously as she realized that I was hesitating to give her a reply and sighed. She let out a deep breath and slumped her shoulders.
