887 Words
This Ryū’unsō appeared in the pugilist world a few years after the current Unkensō were rebuilt. So everyone in the pugilist knew that Ryū’unsō is the sworn enemy of Unkensō. But now the Ryū’unsō Shō-mon was also the Sect alliance leader (Goryō-Meishu), so no one dares to oppose them. As long as the Ryū’unsō still exist, they will never give any chance to Unkensō to stay on top again. For Ryū’unsō, which is the Goryō-Meishu and also the number one sect, each of their factions can contain about thirty disciples and for the Shō-mon’s faction has about eight disciples. The other big-three sects as well, had almost twenty disciples for the faction and for the Shō-mon, the faction was about six to seven disciples. Not only that, for Ryū’unsō, their indirect disciples numbers are very large as well, more than fifty disciples, compared to other big-three sects which have about thirty to forty indirect disciples. Only the outside big-four sects including Unkensō, was the smallest one in numbers which only had about twenty disciples in each faction, as well as their direct disciples numbers. However, those indirect disciples still can't gain much advantage or privilege compared to those direct disciples. For example, the battle tournament that is held by the Goryō-Meishu in which only the direct disciples of a sect can participate. That's why the indirect disciples often get underestimated and bullied by the direct disciples. But for Koshin, even though he is an indirect disciple, most of the direct disciples do not dare to bully him. Not only because he was a direct disciple of Kōgo who was the strongest martial-artist person in Unkensō, but also among those Unkensō oldest disciples, Koshin can be considered as one of them as he was in seventh place when Unkensō started to accept disciple one by one. When Kōgo and Koshin had just arrived at Unkensō, there were only six disciples that joined them. Some were sent by their parents because of private problems and some were adopted by the Seimei-Sōshu and the elders as well. That's why according to the numbers; Koshin was number seven. Koshin was also very close to his six seniors, especially the number five and six. The eldest and the second disciples were adopted by the Seimei-Sōshu when there was one time he was on a trip and saved two little young boys by coincidence. Later the Seimei-Sōshu gave them name, the eldest one called “Kanō-Koken / Yè-Gǔjiàn” and the other one called “Kanō-Koten / Yè-Gǔtiān”. Koken was the only one left when his house was on fire that day. He was the only lucky one to survive from that incident. And for Koten, he was saved after a group of bandits robbed and killed his family when his family was on the way back from travelling. That's why between the two of them, Koten was the one that had anger issues as he still remembers that day when his family got slaughtered by the bandits. He swears if he has a chance to meet the bandits again, he will take revenge for them. Then the Seimei-Sōshu brought those boys back and raised them to be his direct disciple of Unkensō. Afterwards, the other kids appeared one by one in Unkensō. But still, some of them were not adopted. Between six of them, there are two girls which are the number three “Kanō-Kotsuki / Yè-Gǔyuè” and the number six, “Kanō-Koyuki / Yè-Gǔxuě”. Kotsuki was the only daughter of current Seimei-Sōshu which his name is “Kanō-Koshū / Yè-Gǔqiū”. Her mother passed away after giving birth to her. And for Koyuki, she was adopted by her master, Koyō-Chōrō when her master returned from travelling. When Koyō-Chōrō was resting for a while beside the river, she heard the voice of a baby crying. Then she took a look. Indeed, there was a baby inside the basket that was flowing through the river. That's why Koyō-Chōrō brought the baby back and raised her like her own child. The number four “Kanō-Koshō / Yè-Gǔxiāo” and the number five “Kanō-Kosei / Yè-Gǔjìng”. Koshō was also the only son of Kotai-Chōrō. His mother passed away when he was very young. His mother was the disciple of Unkensō. At that time Unkensō, together with other righteous sects led by Goryō-Meishu to eradicate the evil sect, Dōgonkyō. That's how his mother died in the battle when the righteous sects battled with the evil sect. For Kosei, he was sent by his own parents to Unkensō when he was very young. His father was a low-rank magistrate in one small town. However, some other big rank magistrates worked together to decide to let his father become their scapegoat because of the corruption case. His father somehow notices it and is afraid if something happens to him, his family will be in trouble. His father remembers he has a friend in Unkensō, which is Koba-Chōrō. That's why he sent Kosei to Unkensō to entrust his child to Koba-Chōrō. Each of them joined the factions under the elders, except Koken and Koten were under the same faction which is the Seimei-Sōshu’s faction.
