Italy is a nice place to visit this time of the year. I’ve been here a full three times before, seen all the usual spots, and even walked along the streets of Milan, Venice, and Rome. But I haven’t seen the country in October yet.
And boy is it even more beautiful than I remember.
The summer tourist rush has already started to die down but I can still see a few crowds. When we last visited, half of our time cruising around was spent sitting in a car in the middle of traffic. Now, though? It doesn’t seem that bad at all. The air’s cooler, the sun isn’t trying to kill us, and the trees are starting to change color just enough to look cinematic without looking fake.
