THIRD PERSON’s POV That night, they sprawled on the media-room couch, some mindless sitcom flickering on the massive screen. Lorenzo had his arm around Adrienne’s shoulders, her head tucked against his chest, legs tangled under a blanket. The laughter track rolled on, but Adrienne wasn’t really watching. She waited for a commercial break, then tilted her head up at him, all casual curiosity. “Which of your cars is your absolute favorite?” He didn’t even hesitate. “The McLaren. Hands down.” She traced a lazy circle on his chest, a smile flickering in her eyes. “We should take it out tomorrow. It’s Saturday. Let’s go on a drive.
