I watched as she walked off towards the bathroom. How could she just dismiss me like that? Like I was some paid gigolo. Like what they just had was nothing.
I immediately rushed up, not minding that I was bare-bodied, strode towards her, and held her arms, just as she got to the bathroom door.
"What the hell is wrong with you? You can't just dismiss me like that."
She pushed against me, and I moved back, giving her the space she needed. With a shaking hand, she pushed her hair back from her face. I could see guilt in her eyes.
