JP knew they should go inside, but he didn’t want to break the magic of being with her so simply. When the breeze blew up and Lark shivered and pulled her arms in to huddle against his chest, he sighed and gave in. “Let’s go take a shower,” he said, his voice so low, it was scratchy. Lark looked up at him and smiled coyly. “I thought you were tired?” “I am,” he growled, pinching her side gently to tickle her. “I meant a shower to get clean and warm up.
