In her mind he stood over her, close so he had to tip his chin down to meet her eyes. The sky and sun behind him, filtering through his hair, but his eyes were locked on hers. And he was smiling. His shoulders looked massive, broad and strong. And his physical presence in front of her felt like a wall, a buffer between her and the world.
