In less than 15 minutes 752 Merigrove Avenue was flooded with cars and police sirens. Parked on the side of the road in a galaxy blue , metallic Audi Q8 was a very frantic Young woman .

DARIEN

On a call with Alvira:

" Good job , now swallow , i love a girl who swallows her food "

I smirked at my phone laying on the granite counter top of my kitchen sink .

" Euew Darien at this time of the day , you are nasty human being "

" yea thats good , oh hi Alvira what nasty are talking about? "

" we do not have to talk if you still buuuuuusy , i will call you later"

" alright then Alvira we will talk lat-wait wait wait , did you talk to Almina today ?"

" call mamma , i think Almina just got herself into trouble "

" trouble Darien ? mamma does not need any more trouble from us , you sort it out , let me call Kieran "

" Alvira! just! call! mamma! Almina just knocked down a school kid in Merigrove , she just messaged me . what is she even doing in Merigrove?"

" she did what? the media will have a frenzy with this , dammit Almina she was supposed to be picking up Sanchez from school."

" let me go little sister , i have a mess to fix now, as always "

OH OSIRIS !! What is going on with my siblings , its as if they go out looking trouble on purpose just to piss me of.

Alvira and Almina are Darien and Kieran's twin sisters . As the eldest of all four Darien has always been the one looking out for his siblings and making sure they do not get into trouble. The Martinez siblings have always been in the media for some stupid scandals each and every year . Duke Gregor had to send them away to boarding school to keep them out of the public eye but now that he is no longer here it has been difficult for Darien since the responsibility now befalls on him. Darien took his daughter to the house help , quickly changed into a comfortable sweat suit and sneakers , took his car keys and left the house .

on a call to the royal attorney William :

" A number of civil and criminal consequences may loom over her " says William

" William just give it to me straight , i did not do law "

" Civil penalities like personal injury lawsuit or insurance claim if she is the one at fault. In the case of the pedestrain dying then there will be a lawful apprehension "

" It must not get to that William , we pay you to prevent such instances from happening "

" I was just giving it to you straight like you asked me to , lets hope the pedestrian is alive Darien."

" Lets hope so , i will contact you soon ."

ALMINA

Crying hysterically in her twin sister's arms , Almina tries to explain what happened .

" Elle est sortie de nulle part Vira tu dois me croire . Je ne conduisais pas trop vite ou tout ce que je te jure."

" Je te crois ma sœur, mais tu dois mettre ton histoire au clair avant que la police n'arrive."

Alvira arrived at the scene just after the EMS vehicle left so she never got to see wether the pedestrian her sister hit is alive or not and she did not want to ask Almina considering the fact that she was already not herself when she got here . she decided to wait outside of the car until her brothers got to the scene also . she found herself worried about the person her sister hit and she quickly went across the street where a group of students were gathered standing with folded arms,. worry and shock filled expressions on their faces . she approached and called one of them on the side to speak with him .

" hello dear , I am sorry to interrupt you like that , who is the girl that was hit and how badly are her injuries if I may ask ? I overheard you and friends saying she is injured ."

She stood with the student for sometime before crossing the street back to her sister and her brothers , she had found out which hospital the EMS vehicle transported her to and they all got ready to go and see how the injured pedestrian is and to find out whether or not they will have to pay off a couple of people to be on the safe side of the law .

" Lets just all pray for our sake that the Countess does not know what happened here today because if she does know by now I AM NOT INVOLVED !" Lewis said as he walked away to his car. The police were getting ready to question the driver when suddenly the journalist from Eye newspaper arrived and wanted to question Almina , Darien ended up having had to break up a fight between the journalist and Kieran , pleading with the police not arrest his bloody and foolish little brother , that is what he called him . " bloody and foolish brother you call me Darien when I am the one trying to protect our family name from being dragged down by that good for nothing looser trying to break out in the world using our misfortunes, some big brother you are uhm Darien , some big brother you are !" and he walked away . Darien never responded but instead took his sisters to their cars and left with them .
