Sitting at his desk in his office, Raid turned another page of their supplies list. Scanning the items that he’d be expected to pay for, he blinked his eyes up to his lieutenant before letting them sink back down to the page.
“There are some…” Diego cleared his throat. “New items on there.”
Incredulous wasn’t usually in his repertoire; Raid did his best to remain reserved. If he’d spent any time thinking about what it would mean to have a woman under his purview, the list wouldn’t be so unexpected.
