As much as I loved to play, I hated this gathering. I know we spend a lot of money and energy on it but I sincerely wished we stopped doing it. The gathering, although meant to bring all allies together, does the opposite. If anything it creates tension between rivals and enemies. They wished they could have one another's throat but they dare not, at least not on our watch.
Every smile and handshake in the room are merely for show. Beneath lies deep secrets that better not see the lights of the day. As I sat down beside Stefano, I sighed tiredly, the night hadn't even begun and to say the truth, it was always filled with drama. You get to know a lot of things and unravel deep hatred amongst them.
