Vampires on Board

Well, I'll say night well spent. I punched the s**t out of a dickhead, scared the crap out of a slut and now I'm taking a walk with my best friend. This feels right and relaxing, "So how do we plan to spend the rest of our lives?" Martin asked. "Well, like humans. Work, get married and start a family while I help you find your mate." I told him. "Wow you really don't think you'll have a mate?" I stopped to think his question through for a while, "Nope, if I do, I'm certain that he will reject me." I told him. Then he sighed in defeat, "Let's go back, we need to rest."

As well were approaching our car, I sensed that we were being followed. I saw Martin stiffen and I knew he sensed it to. Then we both smiled, "Humans" we said in unison. We both started moving slow, Ivy was anxiously waiting for them to attack us first. If there is something she enjoys, it's fighting people she can easily bite.

Then six men surrounded us, four had knives, two had guns. Martin and I stopped. "As you can see you are surrounded, so give us all your money and your car. We won't hurt you and your little girlfriend." Said one of the two me with guns. Martin and I looked at each other and laughed like idiots. "So wait, all six of you came to with guns and knives just to get the car and money." I said clearly mocking them. "Honestly I would have given you my car but it was a birthday gift so no can do." They looked at us with clear shock in there eyes, "You guys do realize that we have guns and knives right." Said the other one. "Okay let's do this, whoever wants these keys can come get them." Martin said and put the keys on the ground.

Our wolves surfaced but we didn't shift. 'This is going to be fun.' Ivy said then she wasted no time to pounce on the first man that attempted to grab the keys then she broke his neck. "Who's next?" I asked. 'Kathy don't keep all the fun the fun to yourself.' Martin complained in our mind link. "Sorry love I didn't know you wanted him." I replied out loud. The next one received the same treatment. When we turned to look at the rest, we saw them miles away running for dear life. We both busted in laughter. "Now I'll say night well spent." Martin said between laughter.

We went back to our motel room. I changed into my pajamas, Martin just wore shorts. He loves sleeping shirtless, he says it's to impress the girls in his dreams. And trust me, he has one sexy body. Not that I'm attracted to my best friend, I'm just appreciating God's creation. He took the other side of the bed, I scooted over to him and slept on his chest. It was warm and comfortable, one thing about werewolves is we are warmer the the average human. I felt him stiffen and relax then he passed his hand around my waist and pulled me closer. "This is comfortable." I said with my eyes closed. "Don't get used to it." He said then yawned. "Good night Kathy." "Goodnight Martin"

On the plane we were going to our class when just at the entrance we stopped. I felt Ivy stiffen then relax. Martin was actually still stiff. 'Vampires' Ivy said.

Ivy doesn't react to vampires like all werewolves, she just stiffens at the scent of them but relaxed as soon as she stiffens. I'm sure you're wondering why, I mean she's a werewolf after all. In case you didn't know, werewolves and vampires don't get along in fact they hate each other. They are like cat and dog. But Ivy has come to get used to there scent because she lives with one.

I'm a tribrid, meaning I'm a werewolf, vampire and a witch. We are the three of us with different personalities but we are one. The human part that everyone sees is the witch, Ivy is the wolf and then there is Vamp, she's the vampire. She looks just like me but with fangs and bloodshot eyes. At the moment she is dormant because I haven't yet activated her, I have to die in order to become a full tribrid. But she's there, she just doesn't talk much. Ivy and Vamp live together in my subconscious, so Ivy is used to the vampire scent.

I touched Martin's shoulder to relax him and his wolf, "Relax, I'm here." I told him. We walked in, of course there was tension. All the vampires turned towards us and I could tell from the look on their faces that it was taking everything in them to keep their fangs inside. Like the universe wanted a fight to break out on the plane, Martin's seat was next to a vampire. "Let's swap seats." I told him and he happily took my offer.

I sat next to the vampire. "Hi I'm Kathy." I said being friendly and all, I would really like to have a vampire friend. He looked at me for some time then asked, "Is that your boyfriend." I looked at Martin for some time, "No he's my brother." I responded. He looked at me with disbelief but let it slide, "I'm Edward." He said. "So, he's your step brother?" I knew why he was asking, I mean Martin is a werewolf and I am scentless so everyone would conclude that I'm a scentless human. "No I'm a werewolf." I went direct to the point, I've never been one to but around the bush. His eyes widened in shock, "How come I can't smell you.?" He asked almost loudly. "Quiet down, I'm a scentless wolf." I told him. He was still having his shocked face on but it seemed to relax a bit. "Even if you are scentless I know you can smell me, so how are you being friendly and not trying to bite my head off?" This time he asked with amusement. "Well, I happen to have a wolf that tolerates vampires." He first laughed then looked at me, "You're serious." He said then I looked at him, that's when I noticed how handsome he is, he has a pale white skin like all vampires do black hair that went along well with his pale skin and ocean blue eyes. 'Crap his cute' Ivy and vamp both said. 'Hi vamp hearing from you is like waiting for the next solar eclipse' I joked. 'Oh yeah, maybe that's because you get to meet cute vampires everyday.' She said sarcastically. Then I felt a cold hand shake my shoulder. "Hey you there." Edward asked. "Yeah I'm fine, my wolf says you're cute." He laughed, "Thank you. Honestly it's really weird talking to a werewolf without wanting to reap her throat out." I looked at him, "Well get used to it."

Time passed, we had some small talk and trust me when I say this guy is the best seat mate I've had apart from Martin. Speaking of Martin, 'Hi you okay.' I asked him through our mind link. 'Yeah I'm fine, but Vin is struggling to keep his cool.' He replied. That's when I turned to look at all the vampires on the plane, they all had a constipated look on their face. I looked at Edward he looked just fine. "Like what you see." He teased. "No I was just wondering, is my brother's presence affecting you." He stayed silent for a while, I think he was thinking it through. "Coming to think of it, no. Maybe it's because I've shifted all my attention to you." He replied. I yawned, "I feel quite sleepy, can I sleep on you shoulder?" I asked him. "I wouldn't want you to catch a cold." Oh yah, vampires are cold as f**k. "I'm a werewolf the cold doesn't bother me." I said then slept on his shoulder. 'Honestly that view is disturbing, a werewolf on a vampires shoulder. If I was to tell any wolf I saw this, they'd say I was hallucinating.' Martin said in our mind link. 'Hey I'm a vampire too remember.' I said then shut him off. I needed my beauty sleep.

The plane landed in the airport, we got off it and were waiting for the car coming to pick us up. "So this is good bye." Edward said. "It doesn't necessarily have to be, we can be friends." I said. "Yah I can't wait to see the faces on my friends when I tell them I have a werewolf friend." We both laughed. We exchanged numbers, He's car arrived and he left.

"So great, my best friend has a vampire friend." Martin said with disgust. "Martin when I turn into a vampire will you hate me too?" My question took him off guard. "What? No. Never." He said almost immediately. "Then stop showing so much disgust when you talk about vampires." I said to him.

A black MayBach parked in front of us, then a guy walked out. He didn't look older than us, he was tall, muscles well built, blonde hair, blue eyes, I must add very attractive. He had the type of face that could get any girl's pants down. 'Damn he's cute.' I heard Ivy say. 'Not cuter than Edward.' Vamp remarked. 'Yah even I have to admit the vampire is cute but check this wolf out." Ivy continued admiring him. "Wow you stare hard." The guy said obviously he caught me staring while listening to the two idiots I happen to share a body with. Then he looked at his phone then back at me. "You must be Katherine, alpha Scott told me to pick you up and help you settle down." Oh so he's the guy we'll be staying with? God, he's cute. Martin must have heard someone talking to me because he looked up from his phone, "Alex?" He said with shock written all over his face. "Martin?" Okay so they know each other. "Oh my God. It's been so long I missed you, I thought I'd never see you again." The cute guy I've come to know as Alex said before they both embraced themselves in an 'I missed you type of man hug I guess. "You guys know each other?" I asked. "Yeah. He's my cousin." Martin answered with evident joy on his face.
