Ruby's words hit Brittany like a slap in the face.
Brittany turned to Ruby, her gaze icy.
"So, you're Leo's new fling? Don't you feel embarrassed mocking me, knowing you're not even on my level?"
Ruby's face froze. Brittany continued, her voice cold and sharp.
"At least I woke up in time to leave him. You, on the other hand, willingly act like his pet. All you can do is amuse him, hoping he'll toss you a random gift when he's in a good mood."
She leaned closer, her words piercing.
"Tell me, Ruby, what else do you really get out of it?"
Ruby's face turned deathly pale, her lips trembling as she spat out her response.
"Well, I was his housekeeper for seven years. But you? You didn't even make it to that rank, did you?"
Brittany delivered the final blow with a smirk.
