Brittany felt a twinge of bitterness deep in her heart. She had only canceled on Leo once, and he was already so upset. Yet over the past seven years, he had canceled on her countless times without ever wondering if she would be angry.

Moments later, her phone rang. It was Leo.
The insistent ringtone filled the air, but it no longer had anything to do with her. She hung up without hesitation and immediately blocked his number.
Emily, watching her smooth and decisive actions, gave her a thumbs-up. "That's the way to do it! Let him stew!"
