Brittany and Emily were stunned.
"Just an old acquaintance," Adrian said in a low voice, his gaze carrying a barely noticeable hostility as he looked at Charles.
Brittany was exhausted.
All she wanted was to go home and rest early. She had no interest in getting tangled up with Charles here.
