"Fine, let's bet on it!" Steven said immediately, as if afraid Brittany would back out.
"Deal!" Brittany replied, pulling Emily into the law office.
Her posture radiated confidence and determination.
Emily, however, looked a little worried. "Brittany, isn't this bet a bit too risky?"
Brittany let out a sigh. "No pressure, no motivation."
"Besides, even though we have five million in startup funds, it's still not enough."
"Might as well take a gamble. If we manage to secure an extra three million, it'll be a huge help."
Emily nodded in agreement.
The lawyer reviewed the contract, finding no major issues.
However, they added a few clauses in Brittany's favor.
Brittany decided to visit Tom's company the next day to see if she could negotiate and get those clauses included.
